Don't think people are saying we should have physically forced the op but simply have done everything (more) to convince him it was the best and only long term solution.

    Eddie confirmed they did try

Why don't we trust out manager/team?

  2. Why are people on here so desperate to blame people or for "heads to roll"

If you cant believe its just bad luck, which occams razor suggests is probably correct,

Can we all agree that we now have a team with the best interest of the team at heart, and even if.................even if, in the unlikely event that someone somewhere made a mistake....

We are all £$%$" human and mistakes are part of the game

Why the obsession with blaming people, pointing fingers, and being upset about it

Now, I’d really love it if we, as a forum/fanbase, could collectively stop loosing our shit over things we know nothing about. Feels like there’s a real appetite to pin blame on managers / players / staff / owners for everything at the moment (to suit your own agenda) when in many cases there is no blame to pin.

  4. Been on this forum since 2007 and it's never been this bad.

We were all more united in our hate for Pardew than we are now

Not even sure what it means anymore to be a "supporter"

Guess it means we celebrate when we win and throw eggs when we dont

  5. Sheesh, never through protecting one of our greatest prospects would kick up a backlash.

Who knows how any of the players above will turn out, but there are 1000s of stories of "wonderkids" not being looked after and disappearing into obscurity.

Also, I trust Eddie to do the right thing by the lad, given he knows him and his family better than anyone on here.
People forget there is an actual human being under there. They would prefer to sacrifice him for the sake of their entertainment.

Playing an injured Longstaff, who is offering nothing out there over a fit Miley, on the grounds of having to look after him because he is only 17 is baffling.

    Huh?

Zoom out a bit and reflect on what you are saying

  7. Watched the presser again today. Watched almost all of them since Eddie joined. Watched zero before him.

Such a class act. I have huge loyalty to him. Hope he is here forever

  8. Hindsight is a magical thing isn't it.

I would have won the lottery if I had just chosen the right numbers. Stupid of me not to. It was so obvious
