either if you like it or not, smith could be an important player (considering our small squad) and if ashley doesnt spunk up any money,
think he recieves a bit unfair critisism, he is a nice backup in my eyes.
might not give us the cutting edge a new player would have (if we where that lucky in the january window)
i can say that i would rather have him then mr i give you a penalty butt in our midfield
for the summer, a player to get rid for sure

permananent, no thanks. but, im much less hurried to get the new board in when we were losing under hughton. what i will say is, even when we do get them in, ill be hoping they take their time to appoint the new manager, rather than appointing someone straight away. if the takeover doesnt happen until the end of the season, ill have confidence in results.
actually that rasies a point: if the takeover didnt happen until the end of the season, and kinnear won us the FA cup, what do you think (and want) would happen?
If he wins the FA cup, he wouldnt manage anymore, he would stick to drinking free beers in newcastle for the rest of his life

Taylor = yes
Shola = no, hes only started when we had the option between him and xisco (wich is like 50/50 when you are a new manager) contracts up at the summer, he wont be staying m8!
Barton = would profit from any manager as long as he plays, been out for a while now...
Guhrie = yep, but then again, same as barton... butts not going to stay in there forever (i think)

Taylor was maybe our man of the match last game. I think when people are playing good they should get the chance to defend their place in the team.
especially if our nr1 right back is not certain to be 100% match fit

Taylor needs to be taken out of things for a while and Bassong deserves a chance.

in place of Beye? I know he Tayls was class on the last game but aint gonna do that week in week out
well, Beye havent exacly been top notch either... injured for most of the season (looked shaky preseason)

Because Beye is a far superior player than him perhaps?

but he isnt fully fit yet is he? so why not try out taylor for one more match, and we could possibly avoid a new injury?

This guy must be good, wasnt there Deper fans coming on here freaking out cos we bought another one of there best players?Hes still young,will take him time to adapt to a whole knew lifestyle and the premierships completely different style of play compared La Liga.Not to mention Keegan leaving as soon as he signed particually wouldnt have helped.I was disapointed that jk brought Shola on ahead of him the last day.He as at least looked better than Shola from what I have seen so far.
Purely on what we've seen THIS season, Xisco has not performed as well as Ameobi.
