developing rival team players
dat ambition
If it improves us, who cares

Got ability but you cant get away with making the horrendous mistakes he made today in the Prem.
-
But any mistake he makes in terms of selection and game management is exacerbated by the fact the squad he's got is so poor at this level. If he'd been given a Premier League budget, he'd be a lot more accountable.
What's a Premier League budget these days?
-
Some really questionable decisions in the first two weeks. Hope he's just making a point and hasn't lost complete belief in the squad like the rest of us have
-
This is a PL game
-
Ref didn't even see that
Wasn't even watching it
-
Merino has been second worst on ground behind Gayle and it's not even close
-
Not going to get anywhere with a Gayle/Perez front 2
-
Best team we can field but that is not a PL strength side at all....
-
Could we get away with playing Jonas at LB?
-
FYI the rules were changed after the Liverpool and Everton fiasco to stop it happening again....
Personally i would prefer they left it as it were and just have 5 PL teams.
Never...
I say that even if we were not in contention lol, if a team finishes 4th i believe he has earned the right to play in the CL.
4th shouldn't even qualify for the CHAMPIONS league to begin with.

#NUFC all but assured place in Europe after FA confirm #CFC #LFC cup final opens up 6th place finish for Euro qualification

Not if Chelsea win the Champions League and finish outside of the top 4 though?
Then they'd make CL, 4th & 5th would get Europa.
England would get an extra Europa League spot if Chelsea win the Champions League.
Ah, fair enough.
Realised it didn't really make sense anyway.
If they win CL and come 5th, 4th & 6th in the league would get their Europa spot anyway. If they won and came 6th, 4th and 5th would get Europa spots with Liverpool. Regardless we'd be in one of the spots.

Where is he?

Also involved against Norwich are midfielder Danny Guthrie and utility man James Perch, with those making way today being Davide Santon, Cheick Tiote and Gabriel Obertan.
The changes in personnel are expected to see United line-up slightly differently from normal, with Jonas Gutierrez dropping back into a left-back role.
Perch should play alongside Guthrie in the middle of the park, with Yohan Cabaye asked to take up a spot on the left flank, but tucking inside, while Hatem Ben Arfa will continue on the right wing.
-
Surely Perch at LB and Gutierrez in midfield? I shat when I saw that lineup
You'd imagine so but the way it's been posted....
-
Didn't Santon go off injured last week?
-
Gutierrez at LB?
Interesting. I also assume that means Ba is LW?
-
Just seen the players arriving at the stadium on Sky, Ben Arfa looked pissed off
Probably dropped.
He nearly always looks pissed off though tbf.
-
So Pardew saying Simpson was injured... but couldn't be replaced as we had used all our subs...
Yeah, he's permanently injured. It's called a brain injury.

Signed a new two year contract.

that fucking ref was a joke
how many games has he ref'd before that he actually bothered to award a penalty for shirt pulling???
answear none,
come a big derby game he decides to award one, talk about trying to hog the limelight, fucking prick.
Tbf, we had him at Stoke when he awarded them a soft penalty for a 'push' and then gave us one about 15 minutes later.

Ben Arfa was excellent, but I feel that for him to start it's going to be the end of Santon.
*At* left back.
Danny Simpson and Ryan Taylor will continue to get games, so it's just the end of him in general until the end of the season.

Korean & Japanese players this window. Commercial benefits for Fat Mike definitely outweigh the 'cost'.
