Obertan had something like 17 starts to get to know the rhythm of the team and get used to playing regularly. barfa has never played more than 3. do you expect him to come straight in and score a hat-trick a game? He nearly won it for us ffs/
I wonder what you were like when Robert played for us (if you were born/old enough) because he lost the ball a lot and his tracking back was far worse than ben arfas.
Robert actually knew how to pass and cross the ball - a key skill that Ben Arfa seems incapable of doing.

Mike Williamson is horrible, Championship level defender as is Danny Simpson.
Hatem Ben Arfa is the most over-rated player in the world, just because he does something good once every 90 minutes it doesn't excuse the rest of his crap.
Our central midfield was invisible, Tiote/Cabaye got bossed by O'Hara/Henry FFS.

The fact that Obertan and Raylor get matches before HBA says a lot!
I can`t really be angry this season, but the way Pardew goes about HBA kills me.
Most technical gifted player we have, and he does not give him a chance.
Yes, he was crap at Brighton and Blackburn, but Obertan get 15+ matches, week in week out. Depressing really.
Just to think we have had a player like HBA in our squad, and not give him a fair long spell in the team really boils my p*ss!

I actually really dislike Pardew. He comes across as a smug arrogant cock despite having not really done anything in his career to justify such an attitude (perhaps come the end of this season he may have something to crow about.) However he is doing a great job here and his first year or so in charge has been excellent.

Just been made aware of the fact there's another ACON next fucking year aswell to avoid it clashing with a World Cup year, then every 2 years after that. So that will be 3 in 4 years. What a fucking joke.
But aren't they moving to a summer schedule after next years tournament?
Don't think that was ever approved because it would mean more than half of the countries couldn't host it due to wet weather.
