Yeah I would say I share that concern too. With some people it’s the right time and right place.

Mate if we get 3-4 seasons of progress out of him before that happens then I’m happy, although he seems to be able to reflect and change.

That’s a good post, but then there’s risk with anyone atm. The less risk for me is attached to Benitez but that’s only because I trust him with my club. If Howe says and does the right things I’ll be right behind him.

I’m not sure that Jones is a shit coach but I’d agree with Ritchie. But then if he comes in I doubt he’ll have a full coaching team ready to go as he’s been out a while so it makes sense he’ll work with the senior coach until he gets sorted out. As for Ritchie, he’s clearly one of the ‘senior players’ and does seem to care about the club. Working effectively with the the likes of him will get the players quickly on side.

Not sure what the problem is with the Jones and Ritchie part is?

3. Well if he'd lost the dressing room he'd done it in style thrashing Spurs 7-1 As far as the new manager is concerned I think we all (as fans), need to come back to earth quickly. Emery was going to be the head turner, but he acted like a scorned ex-girlfriend so that's up to him. I'm happy to get Howe in and get behind him, he seems decent enough and we need someone quickly. We need to be realistic and with the absolute shambles of a club and facilities we have we just need someone to pull us out of the shit and stabilise the first team while the infrastructure is sorted out, if we progress all when and good. Time for realism though.
