But I do think Howe is under pressure next season to deliver European football. A club whose owners claim to be wanting to take the club to regularly challenge the elites wouldn't be happy with 2 consecutive seasons without European football you'd think. Any of those clubs we want to be challenging wouldn't be.

If we have a positive summer I'm massively confident we'll qualify for Europe next season. Howe nearly did it this year despite facing the most challenging circumstances I've seen a manager face in my time supporting us. 

If we get the squad balance right we'll be going for top 4 and a couple of good cup runs.

 Was an incredible effort yesterday, thanks @Heron to you and your fellow volunteers.

Probably the largest scale one I've been present for and just thought there is no other club in the country doing this so brilliantly and so often. It will be a big reminder to players and staff that they're playing for a really special club.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Klopp get it as a Giggs-style lifetime achievement job. Life is that cheesy and gross.

Yeah. For Gordon not to be nominated for the Young Player of the Year, when the likes of Udogie and Mainoo are, is mental. He's been our talisman all season in terms of performances and output. 

Looking at the nominations they seem determined to spread them across the teams depending on their position in the league rather than based on individual merit.

We've been up and down and Isak is nominated for both, so that's that. FWIW I love Isak but Gordon has been the more consistent contributor of the two, without a doubt.

Specifically on Klopp, for me it's also the fact he's weeks away from concluding a job he's been in for a decade.  It has all fell apart for him in recent weeks as they fall out of competitions with a whimper.

He has a perfect opportunity to deal with it all with a bit of class knowing he leaves with his reputation enhanced and he is universally respected.  But it's beyond him.  He's a petty little man.

Just think back to Bobby Robson's quotes after that Arsenal game, about losing with class etc.  I know he'd deal with this completely differently, and I know what he'd think about Klopp's antics too.

Same. Zero class. It's really ugly and quite awkward to be exposed to so often now. 

He always was an arsehole, not surprised to learn this about his views and outlook on life now. The way he carried on as a commentator was excruciatingly unfunny and tbh unprofessional to the point he should have been sacked for that itself. Imagine sitting at a World Cup and moaning about every aspect of it, disrespecting your hosts and various other parties, and being arrogant enough to think it was alright. 

It was totally embarrassing, as was he generally. Glad he's off our screens.

It has been covered by others but checking periodically in short quick bursts. As when one pops up you need to secure it quick. Gets easier the closer you get to KO. 

I'm worried in case they change the resale system cos much like bobbydazzla I've been able to get tickets for every game I didn't win the ballot for.
