Surely we have to strike a balance between getting in quality and quantity. If we sign a current premier league baller for 50-60m, and that potentially leaves us with pennies, we're back to having a shit squad the next year.
The players just need a break. Wish we hadn't lost by such a big margin, but it's done now.
When we have a better squad, and we still refuse to rotate, I'll probably have a gripe. But until then, I understand wanting to stick rather than twist.
What he did with his armband is like a religious person inviting an atheist mate to a church service. But the Atheist can't help but wear a tshirt with a slogan that suggests god doesn't exist.
It's just weird shitty behaviour. I don't believe in god, but if a friend really wanted me to experience something, I'd go and I wouldn't be a prick about it.
That's how I see it. You can see it differently.
Selling him for 30million would suggest Miley is/will be a purple.
We have to keep SOME of our youth, otherwise we're Chelsea. Once Burn, Longstaff and at a push Murphy retire/leave - there goes our geordie spine that I think we all agree was pivotal in our recent success/good vibes.
