  1. How many points ya got out of interest? Know a few people with about a hundred who aren't happy at all 97 points mate. Haven't been knocked back for an away ticket since our first ever visit to the stadium of light. Sat in the home end then which was pretty difficult with us going 2-0 up and then them coming back to draw 2-2. How many you reckon will be needed for QPR? My dad defintely has enough and I've got about 40 Think you should be ok with 40. I'd imagine we get around 3,500 tickets for that one and last season when we were getting allocations of 3,000 for the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal people with 35 points could apply straight away I think.

  3. Thanks to the NUFC ticket office scapping the loyalty points system and me not realising there's 4 of us in with the home fans on Saturday. I have relatives who live in Stockton and they have sorted our tickets out and apparently we're in the West Stand but quite near the Newcastle supporters and we will be celebrating if/when we score. Wouldn't be suprised if there's a few thousand Newcastle fans in the home sections which makes a bit of a mockery of their decision only to give us 3,600 tickets for safety reasons.
  4. Really disappointing to hear people being abused, even physically, by fellow Newcastle fans for the crime of not having a Geordie accent. I personally know 6 cockneys who travel up to almost every home match and also attend most away games and the effort and expense they put into following NUFC is unbelievable and always makes me realise how lucky I am living less than 5 miles away. When we played Leverkusen a few years back I was in the pub in Cologne where Cockney Stu (some of you will no doubt know him as he is a bit of a character) who travels all over to support Newcastle had his ear bitten off by a Newcastle fan because of his accent. Disgusting.
  5. Agreed! Superb up in Level 7 last night. It was just one of those nights that come around every once in a while. Great performance on the pitch and excellent in the stands as well. Heard about all the trouble with the Cardiff fans but I was in the town from 4 and went to several different pubs and hardly even seen a Welshman when I was expecting them to be all over the place.
  6. I was stood in the queue right behind the lad who was being accused of pushing in. I'd had a few so i'm not actually sure if he did push in but I know the lad well that nutted the older fella who was accusing him (he's called Neil). Police were straight on the scene as a few others jumped in but he'll be gutted if he's got a 2 year ban because he's been going to the match for years. Missed the 1st 2 goals because of the big queues outside and it wasn't until I seen the goals again on SSN in the 3 Bulls afterwards that I realised we had won 5-1. I thought we had won 4-1 because when we eventually got in someone told us that we were already 1-0 up - he'd obviously missed the 1st goal!
  7. Word has it that Gary Caldwells move to Middlesbrough was in doubt due to the weather until 40,000 Celtic fans turned up at Glasgow Airport to clear the runway.
  8. Come on lads, kiss and make up Stretching it out a bit far ! I agree. I think the time has now come to either sort this by PM or we can meet up before the match and I can smash his face in. *That was a joke by the way Roger
  9. I wouldn't say it was a joke, more an ironic statement saying how our recent league crowds have been pushing 50k yet we had sold fewer than 1k tickets for next weeks match (if you had clicked the link for yourself rather than relying on another poster you could have seen that for yourself). The moral of the story? Know the full facts before diving in and making a fool of me So you're saying that you were aware that my comment about the Plymouth match pulling in 50k was tongue in cheek after all

  11. My post was obviously in jest as the ground capacity will be less than 50k for this match. 99% of people would have realised that, you didn't but would have if you had clicked the link provided. I'm not saying that you're thick as i've never met you before but I would advise not jumping in feet first next time as it can make you look rather silly. Now can we leave it at that as it is getting rather boring now.
  12. I will fix your poor attempt at quoting for you, some people cant work it out Are you capable of reading? Then you will know i didnt click the link So you're saying you passed comment without actually clicking the link I provided?
  13. Read the thread dumbass, i went off Gregs reply to it Trying to pass the buck eh? It was a s*** joke, wasn't even remotely funny and thus went straight over my head and I just presumed the bloke posting it was a f***ing idiot. I said the same, after reading his first post then his/uyours. Was a pisspoor joke and like have said theres plenty on here thick enough to come out with it. The fact this username was a total stranger meant i had no reason to think he was a comedian [/quote Yes but I included a link to the stadium plan showing less than 1,000 seats had been sold so stop trying to wriggle out of it

I sold you my Blackpool ticket when I found out I couldn't make it. I don't seem to remember you thinking I was an idiot back then Greg
  15. Thick as mince this lad. He's getting so flustered he's starting to spell the most simple of words wrong. For the record, daft lad, I don't really think we'll get 50,000 against Plymouth Nice backpeddling there. A bit desperate when you are highlighting typos like. How can we get 50k v Plymouth when the club have already stated that the stadium capacity for the match will be cut to 36,500 due to level 7 not being used? I'm glad the more sensible of posters on here realised my comment was tongue in cheek but suprised 2 people were thick enough to think I was being serious Hardly surprised seeing as I usually sit in Level 7 and told people earlier in the thread it was closed. My season ticket is in Level 7 so I am well aware it is not being used next Wednesday, and with the rest of the stadium being "very good" availability barring a couple of sections it seems obvious to presume we will get a low crowd for this fixture, hence my post in jest saying we will top 50,000. Sorry that you and your mate weren't clever enough to understand it.

  18. You clearly don't understand the word 'irony' do you? Nope, not at all. I just saw an idiot post two things which were stupid, its an easy assumption to think you meant them tbh I'd leave it there if I were you. You're starting to make a bit of a tit of yourself now

  20. Looks like we might break 50k against Plymouth http://www.nufc.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/standAndAreaSelection.aspx?stadium=NS&product=PAH10F&campaign=%20%20&type=H
  21. Thought it looked like there was over 50,000 for the Derby game because the only empty seats I could see were in the wings of the Milburn Stand and those same seats were empty when they were announcing 52,000 crowds when we were in the Premier League. No way was there only 47,500 there.
  22. And it was Juventus we needed the favour off.
  23. Well they definately haven't been selling tickets online in the old family section for the Boro match, or the upcoming home games with Derby, West Brom and Crystal Palace. I'd be astonished of Boro bring more than 2,000 up for the match as they have one of the worst away supports in the country. They have just put a section of the old family enclosure on public sale. Showing up as good availability in there now.

  25. I remember home games v Southampton and Charlton being postponed less than a couple of hours before kick off. Regarding the crowd for Sunday I can't see Middlesbrough bringing more than 2,000 which is quite frankly pathetic, so there's 1,000 taken off capacity and then there's the old family enclosure which used to be at the back of Leazes Level 4 which they changed to a corporate area and haven't sold any tickets in there this season, Sundays game included, which leaves another 1,500 empty seats so that brings the crowd down to below 50,000 straight away.
