At the very least we need to give him the preseason to have a look, it would be silly not to.

Mannone looked like a toddler losing his favorite toy. Perfect

So typical that it'll be someone like Conor fucking Wickham that saves Sunderland.

Everton score

The fuck is wrong with Man City when they play Sunderland?

Di Maria is some form

Vidic was always a little weak with 1v1, got beat a lot because he wasn't agile enough. The ultimate conclusion is there just aren't that many top level centerbacks right now, might not even be more than one. Vidic was pretty instrumental to a side that reached the CL final in 2011 was he not? I think he's declined since then, and isn't even a top defender in this league anymore, but that season he was excellent. Not denying that, gotta look at little things when splitting the top players at each position though. His lack of agility/pace is why I would say Kompany was better then, but Vidic definitely had his day as one of the best. Thiago Silva had all of that and commanded a pretty weak Milan side together with Zlatan to the Serie A title. As soon as both left they've not managed to come close. Anyways, agree to disagree. Wasn't disagreeing abut Thiago Silva or Pique during his time under Pep, just Vidic.

Aguero/Negredo is tasty as fuck. Hope we see more of it next season.

Google says it was around 10mil. Good post Neil, there are definitely some weird expectations of him and I see a lot of people say he's shit when he's clearly got some ability, should've just never been a candidate for the lead striker at Arsenal. Will be a good second option if they can sign someone in the summer.

Guess I was wrong, won't be aired in the UK until the ongoing inquest is over, which is a shame because it could have a powerful impact. Obviously, there are ways to find it.

On top of Atlanta's announcement this week it looks like NYCFC will play their first three seasons at Yankee Stadium, and Miami still nowhere near finding a location. So much for expansion teams needing a soccer-specific stadium

Once acknowledgment that the club is aware of this and it comes from an editor, not even a writer, on twitter. No word directly from the club or Elliot confirms what we all know for a wider audience. This has been a thoroughly good time Well done Guv

If he said it there's absolutely no grounds

There was no point where this was a formal interview though, there's no off the record or on the record. Elliot has to be smart enough to not say damning shit when talking to a random fan at a night club. Once he's said it it's fair game imo, he has to watch what he says where ever and whenever, which he failed to do here. The fans deserve to know if one of their players is accepting mediocrity and slagging off a club legend.

Not to but I'm going to do it anyway. This is exactly why N-O should have some sort of social media presence. It's now known as The Mag's story and N-O isn't even mentioned. Not that the article should've been hosted here, but a twitter account could at least point to some to the origins of this 'interview' and draw a few more new posters.

Except for this Milan team
-
They were the first team I took a liking to. Such an incredible group of players, especially when Shevchenko was there. It's too bad Milan held onto them for way too long, they were already an old team (midfield in particular) by that 2007 season.
-
Milan don't even come close to that 2007 final without Kaka, technically he didn't win it single-handedly, but he pretty much did.
