Like the QPR game? Ha. This was more 'symbolic' though considering Stoke were the catalyst for our bad run.
-
That was lots of fun. Hopefully that's the start of a revival.
-
Thanks Ivan.
-
We have to get 5 here to fully exorcize our Wembley demons.
-
Eagles, 4-0. Champagne football.
-
Klasnic, 3-0. Such a great finisher.
-
Hard to say. I think he could make it at a team like Spurs. Certainly his performances are improved with better players around him.
-
Yep good player. So who else has had a good season for you guys so far? Klasnic looked good early on. N'Gog has impressed whenever he's played but needs to be more of a goal threat. Eagles in patches. Wheater, since he's come into the team, has looked a better player than his partner Cahill. Reo-Coker has probably been our best player so far this season, although that's not saying much.
-
Having Muamba in our team has made so much difference.
-
Has Steinsson really been that bad? I'm curious to know, since I'm Icelandic. My understanding was that up until this season he had been pretty solid for Bolton. First season and a half he played well and looked solid, but since then, he seems to have completely regressed. His contract is up at the end of the season, and I'm not sure he'll get a new contract.
-
He's wildly inconsistent, he'll have a blinder one week then will be appalling the next.
-
2-0. Eagles just scored from about 30 yards.
-
They've already got his replacement: Ryan Shotton.
-
Think this is the first time I've ever seen Bolton use an Academy player. The only other one really that's come through was Joey O'Brien, who probably would have made it if it wasn't for a horrific injury record. Nolan, etc, were picked up at 15 so don't really count.
-
We're actually giving a debut to one of our Academy players: right-back Joe Riley. Can't be worse than Steinsson in all honesty.
-
Webb stopped the game for an deliberate backpass. Klasnic wrestled the ball off Begovic, put the ball on the floor and Kevin Davies tapped into an open net.
-
Hahahaha, we've scored in utterly bizarre circumstances
-
We REALLY need a win today. A defeat and we'd be 4 points adrift already.

Andre_Santos27 André Santos!!! Verry good win gays!!! #GoArsenal

Who do you want relegated this season? (2011/12 Edition)

I was watching some highlights of some games we played under Allardyce earlier, it was far better than the sh*t we're serving up now and calling football. -
Crikey. Has Coyle lost many of the fans now? Yeah. Obviously you get the knobhead knee-jerkers in every club, but I think most of the 'moderate' supporters are finally realising that's we're up sh*t creek without a paddle at the moment. I think he's got one more game: Stoke at home next Sunday - now, if we can't beat a Stoke side who are 1) playing in Tel Aviv on Thursday and 2) have an atrocious away record - then his time has to be up then.
-
Bolton would walk the CCC I would have thought. Doubt it. Most of our old guard would retire, and any remaining good players would be picked off by mid-table teams. We'd be left with a threadbare squad and our youngsters - though considering we never play them, I don't know how good they are. But, considering 4 players from the academy have broken through in the past 15 years, I'm guessing they're not great. Plus, if we go down, it's almost guaranteed that we'll go into administration. Maybe that's what we deserve for trying to compete beyond our means.

13 defeats in 15 Premiership games now.
-
All 3 Lancashire teams in the relegation zone now. If they go down, well, that's basically the death knell for football in the region as most of the locals will then start supporting United/City.
