I'll admit i had given up on him tbh, but since the Cardiff game i don't think he's done that much wrong at all.
Still, i've noticed him hanging on to the ball a bit too long at times in dangerous areas, but far less than he was before.
An improvement.

2004 i think was my last season.
Jamie McClen?
No.
I never played for the first team unfortunately.

I just find the lower the level i play at, the less i enjoy it, really.
Why does the level you play at matter?
It will probably sound a bit soft but it gets a lot more physical as you drop down, which doesn't really suit my style of play and i don't think the refs offer enough protection.

Was the setup any good?
Well i hope i don't come across as bitter but not really. It's probably improved quite a bit since then though, i would imagine. Although not many players have came through since i left.
When people ask me which academy they should take there son to, i usually say Middlesbrough out of the big 3 in the North East.

Andy Carroll, Mark Noble, Tom Huddlestone, Aaron Lennon, Frazer Forster, Lee Cattermole, David Edgar, Paul Huntington, Chris Basham, Kris Thackray, Danny Graham, Victor Anichebe
A fair few more from lower leagues and probably some i can't remember off the top of my head.
Are you a Premier League centre half?
Nope.
Play for our academy?
Correct answer. Also spent time with a few other clubs.
nice one man. Any reason you called it a day like? Or just didn't work out?

Lampard's a better player than Pirlo.

0 shots on target man ffs

If you look at it through Pardew's ultra negative glasses, his reasoning for starting shola probably has something to do with mighty West Ham's 'Fret'
from set pieces more than his contribution (or lack of one) in attack.
We can't really expect to win against the great West Ham at home, we have to be on our guard and stay in the game etc.
-
Giroud and Cabaye in the same team though
-
Pretty sure Pardew played Shola on the right wing against Reading at home last season aswell

The day we get rid of Alan 'Hawkeye' Pardew will be a good day.

We've clearly been learning negotiating tactics from San Lorenzo
-
Fabbrini to Watford? wtf.
-
Pisses me off that we always sell the player before we buy the replacement.
Teams will obviously know we have money now so it's gonna be much harder to do a deal in the fat man's price range.

Thought this was RTG when i saw the thread title.

Doubt Pardew would drop Jonas, especially in an away game, but i really hope he does.
