I think the fans unanimously would have wished him well but his timing to demand it now is totally selfish. Eddie made him what he is today- that's just a fact.

I was always resigned to Isak leaving but just not this season. How any can condone his behaviour is beyond me. He's basically just stuck his fingers up at us all and said I'm off - weeks before the start of the season. Nevermind the impact on the team and the other players.

He is not in IT man - and he's not exactly poorly paid. If the club gave Isak £300k it would turn the heads of other players in the squad questioning their worth.

I am not saying we shouldn't up his wages but come to some sort of agreement - increase them as much as possible and agree with him he can go next season. There is a right and wrong way to go about things.

He has three years left on his contract so we have the stronger hand to dictate the price. Club just has to hold firm.

Just expect a bit of integrity from a player for a club who had revived his career to make him one of the most sought after strikers in the world.
