They do try, they're just too shit and bereft of ideas to break sides down and make it count - ie with goals, the whole point of playing football. That would come with sustained pressure and a better successful pass rate. We do have goals in the side, but have never really kept a side pushed back. Aye, also if you look at the game today the area where we are getting the ball with the most joy is in between the lines between their centre midfield and centre halves where there is some space where this space wouldn't be there against worse teams

This seems a bit different tbh. We aren't just relying on Sissoko and Wijnaldum to run at them on the break, Tiote is really helping us to compete with them in midfield and this we are getting more possession
