  1. There have been glimmers of hope in the past. There's nothing there this season. The team, like the manager, is dead behind the eyes.
  2. 0-2 and he brings on Piennar We're fooked.
  3. Made me laugh on an otherwise dull Sunday night. Thanks Scotchy
  4. The same sh*t every year TBH. It's gone past the point of being frustrating. Yes it's great staying up at the end of the season because even brief euphoria is enjoyable but the following August just brings the same misery. We somehow need to break the cycle. If that means getting relegated then I'd probably take it.
  5. I'm pretty ambivalent towards him. I hated his negativity, especially at the start of the season, but his record at Everton suggests he should do a decent job for us. We simpply have to stop sacking managers so if/when we go down we should keep him.
  6. Never been away mate. I've just kept a lower profile because of the stick I was getting on the Brexit thread
  7. Such a waste of a career though, I wonder why one the top four clubs didn't take a chance him at some point? I said that when we signed him. He is absolute quality. £14m for PVA is a great bit of business. He showed yesterday that he's not a defender.
  8. It's a question of getting your priorities right mate It's only football man.
  9. If he played as an out and out winger/forward I'd be more unhappy. He's useless as a left back. I've lost count of the amount of goals he's costs us. We're going down whether he stays or goes. Moyes gave up before we'd played our 3rd game and I'm struggling to think of a more uninspiring Sunderland manager. His interview last week must have really motivated the players. Winston Churchill eat your heart out.
  10. I'm not too bothered about PVA. He's a liability at the back.
  11. Joleon Lescott I wonder if he still has those trousers which can send tweets? This is the year ladies and gents. Your time has come.
