There was a bloke behind us called Ted who would swear constantly and when my mam (I was around 7-8 years old) told him off he'd apologise, and then just do it again thirty seconds later. I know Beardsley played in the premier league but I grew up with him, waddle, keegan and the Gazza era, I was a kid aged 7 living in South Africa and my dad moved us back when keegan signed.  I just don’t think it’s right picking Beardsley without the others from that era.  As for shearer personal opinion records outstanding but we played better football and arguably more successful before he signed.  I’m also not sure he had a positive impact on the team, dynamic rumours jealous of the fans adoration of ginola
