  1. It's alright Man Utd buying these players, but are they Amorim's choices for his chosen setup? Or are they being pushed on him from above? A bad start to next season and Amorim is gone, along with pressure on the next guy to hit the ground running. Just hope it's only the mackems that are worse than them by the end of it (can't see it myself though, the table this year feels like a it's been a perfect storm of shit teams and inconsistency across the board for the league table to finish like it did.

I'm sure we'll make some good 'Eddie' signings, hopefully it's enough to be some decent strength in depth to cope with the extra games.

How did he play in a final? Couldn't watch the game

Nothing special, still wouldn't bother, especially for the sort of money Parish is likely to try and hold out for again.

How the fuck did they justify that? Wether it was a goalscoring opportunity or not if you handle outside the area its a red.

    Clowns.

Someone said to me that if both the keeper's feet are inside the box, then it's okay - my understanding was that handling the ball outside box regardless was a red. Seems a bit fishy to me, especially with VAR checking it.

  4. I don't like Palace, I think they're a shit team with shit fans and a shit owner and fluked their sorry asses to a trophy. It may not be a popular opinion, but there it is :hmm:

  5. Best I can do on my break in Paint 3D :aww:

Not too dissimilar to the current badge, just simplified really I suppose. I'm not sure it bothers me to be honest.

If Arsenal lose today at Anfield then our match against them is a game for 2nd 👀

I don't think Arsenal will lose mind, LiVARpool's gone on holiday since winning the league, at least that's what it looked like against Chelsea. I imagine the official's won't bother helping them as much now either, seeing as their job is done for the season.

  7. All the shit we read about Man Utd wanting Tonali, Man City wanting Bruno, Arsenal wanting Isak, Villa wanting Barnes - what fucking delusional world do these cretins live in? Why the fuck would we want to sell any of our better players, especially in areas that give us some real strength in depth? The mind boggles! Could see us selling Longstaff maybe, Wilson or Lacelles, but I just can't envisage any possible circumstance, especially with us being in better PSR shape currently, where we'd sell any of our better players.

Ref giving the foul against Joe there has me turning this off. Well done lads. Nothing you can do when the ref bottles it due to the home crowd from the first min and does the exact opposite of what he should do in almost every instance.

Been a lot of this today

Okey [emoji38] I recommend watching the highlights afterwards.

Been watching the whole match - hitting posts doesn't mean a thing, just that their strikers aren't as clinical as some depressives would have everyone believe. Our run's caught up on us a bit, fair, but Villa's not outclassed us by any means. They've had massive help from a homer of a ref, we've been given nothing, they've been sneaky and got rewards for it. Hey ho, we've been done today, we've not embarrassed ourselves though.

Just love us so much when we punish teams like this. On the ropes and just cracking haymaker after haymaker into their chops. Amazing to watch.

Just hope we keep going, don't give them a sniff.

Would love to see them keep it up for Saturday, though it might be a big ask with the schedule as it is, reckon we're flying on adrenaline currently

  11. Seems to be more and more pneumonia and sepsis hitting younger people these days, regardless of working activity, fitness or anything else. My mother-in-law passed away from pneumonia at 72 last year out of the blue, she was reasonably average in terms of health, nothing untoward, hope Eddie gets well soon and the hospital treats it properly.
