Excellent article IMO, nothing groundbreaking to fans who have lived the disaster that is Mike Ashley's Newcastle United. But it does fill in some of the story even for hardcore fans, for me definitely (little bits like the meeting with Rafa ect). Also think this would be a great article to read for anyone without much knowledge of the last 13 years who wonder why Newcastle fans hate him so much, if of course you could get them to read it.

What do they think a purchase agreement is? I mean I might not be a expert, but as standard a purchase agreement will state the amount to be paid by the buyer. Also it wouldn't have gone this far without a agreed price. What kind of business person sorts absolutely everything else in a purchase, and then right as the final step says "Ok now how much are you willing to take for the business?", its laughable. Not to mention the Premier League wouldn't enter into checks without agreed price. How would they expect the Premier League to do its checks on the affordability of the club to its potential new owner if they don't know what the club is going to cost them?

Its optional to buy a petrol run car instead of electric, which is what was said. Plus plenty of people function in society without a car.
