Big boot up field. Ball bounces around the lump striker and is bundled unceremoniously past the lower league keeper.

It'll be Batshauyi on loan imho.
No chance imo. He would he too costly and have too many better options than to come to us. We never seem to get the top 6 teams cast offs either. That should be our market loaning fringe players from the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal but we don’t even bother doing that.

Absolutely criminal and a disgrace this useless shithead is NUFC manager in 2020. Even worse with his manure and Sunderland loving connections. Despise him. The biggest ever stain on our club other than Ashley and we have both at once man

Chelsea might be overly optimistic in thinking they can offload all their lot - Bakayoko, Batshuayi, Tomori/Zouma, Emerson, Drinkwater etc.
West Ham says hi.

It's Astroblack so it's almost definitely serious. Thrilled ffs

Probably one for the daft questions thread, but speaking of SJP, why were attendances so low in the first half of 2010-11? We've had much higher gates during worse seasons with worse players and results. Always found it a bit bizarre, like scraping 41,000 v Blackburn and Stoke.
The season before was the champo season and 41k was around our average that season so it probably took a while for attendances to pick back up from there. Plus we didn’t really make any decent signings that summer if I remember right.

Saw somewhere that Chilwell is costing them £50 million.
Wow!
-
No way Chilwell will cost that much, 35m tops I would imagine. Is he even better than the recent left backs they have had, I reckon they are mainly getting him as he helps fill a English player slot.

BBC ran an article yesterday saying us and Wolves are targeting Maitland-Niles
SSN Wolves in advanced talks.
We can not and will not compete with small towns/clubs in the midlands.

I stopped reading when it said he would cost 20m

A win for all the historically renowned clubs.
Indeee. Hopefully PSG and especially Man City never win the champions league.

I feel Perisic was a better foil for Davis as well as the Bayern attack than Coman. It looks like Coman and Davis want to operate in the same space on the left. Anyway fully expect Coman to hit a hattrick after this post.
Same. I reckon Perisic and Coutinho will come on and make the difference.

That Bayern starting 11 cost the same as 2 joelintons

At least the chicken trade will be back soon and they can focus on getting back to wembo and making the mags jealous, they might even go one better and bring that trophy home. I think they would be happy with “ winning something” and been in thr 3rd division. The way they were talking about that tinpot trophy was like it was the FA cup final man. Saying they were all only so excited as it would count as seeing them win a trophy
They really are the smallest of small time c****.

£50 on PSG to lift the trophy @ 6/4
£10 Neymar and Lewandowski both to have 2 shots on target sky bet boost @ 6/1

Is Mourinho losing it?! He’s described the deals for Hojbjerg and Hart as amazing business. Is Hojbjerg even that good?

A fully fit and motivated Carroll would have broke Shearers club goalscoring record by now if he had stayed here from day 1 I reckon.
No.
Why not. 17 goals a season from 2008 until now was doable if he stayed and wasn’t injury ravaged.
-
Cisse. Even enjoyed his later seasons. Still think he could do a job for us.
22 goals in the Turkish league 19/20 season
He would still be our best striker

Be so annoyed if Havertz ends up there. He's thinking too low of himself.
I wonder who'll be kind enough to help Chelsea get rid of Jorginho, Emerson, Batshuayi etc.
Aye, Havertz is good enough to start for any club in the world.
I can think of a club on the opposite side of London that would be all over them type of players.

Remember when Middlesbrough were on their UEFA Cup run and kept singing 'geordies at home, watching the bill'. Then they got done 4-0 in the final.
When we next went to the Riverside, we were singing something like, but not exactly:
Geordies at home, watching the bill
Turn the telly over, Seville won four nil.
That doesn't quite work though. Does anyone remember what it was? It's been getting wrongly stuck in my head since Seville won again last night and driving me mad.
Another set of small time c****

Surely after all he’s done for the club if he’s asked to leave they should just let him walk away. They would be saving about 25m a year on his salary I would imagine
