Made me think of the Ander Herrera/Man Utd debacle 🙂

    For example, 7 years ago.

I thought Partey & Rodri from Atleti went to City & Arsenal from activated release clauses. Kepa too.

I had assumed release clauses for La Liga players would be a good market for us. Young players that haven't signed 80m+ release clauses.

Sometimes clubes pays release clauses but negotiate a easy way to paid it with the other club, I think this happen with Rodri.

But you got it. Imagine pay 60/70m in Cash for Kepa, a disaster.

Release clauses used to be set at prices the club's thought no-one would ever pay to ensure the club's got a decent price if they did sell. Problem for the Spanish club's is they've not adjusted them and they are no longer out of reach for some club's to afford

I think there is a problem of point of view here.

Our visión about PL clubs in Spain is that you overpay almost every player that you buy.

A "decent" price for you is out of any market for, almost, any club of Europe.

We think you waste your money in a crazy way.

For example, with the money that City bought Laporte, we signed Ocampos, En Nesyri, Diego Carlos and Kounde.

Of course in your enviroment sign a player for 60m is a Day in the office but out of there is crazy.

Also it's dependent on when the player signs a contract.

If a player is within the first year or 2 of really breaking out and hasn't renewed his contract, the release clause won't be astronomical vs his value, especially to PL clubs.

I assume there's a lot of good young La Liga talents with sub 60m release clauses.

The best young player are sign for the Best clubs before their 16.

Ansu Fati was playing for Sevilla and Barcelona made an offer to his father and he went there.

Ansu made his debut the last year and Barcelona renewed his contract with a release clause of €1000m.

Of course you could sign young player but It would be more a bet that a sign.

PD sorry all for my english but I am with my friene omicron playing chess and doesn't help.

Is that the sound of fear in your assertion :naughty:

It was like that for 20 years under Monchi law.

I guess you would rather keep Kounde instead of Carlos if you were only allowed to choose one of them?

May as well send Carlos our way😉

Nope. People here knows that Kounde is a sale, it's a matter of time, but DC is the kind of player that we love here, cause his performances and age.

Whilst I get your general point, aren't you forgetting that EVERY player in the Spanish leagues has a release clause? Sure, those clauses might be high enough to put most teams off, but they do 100% exist.

So losing 2 CBs is far from impossible. In fact, it could be impossible to keep them.

Of course, but, How many release clauses have you seen paid for an English club in Spain?

Obviously if you come here and pay €80m We couldn't say nothing, but you and me know that this is not gonna happen.

    Same with Kounde.

You'd have to pay release clause plus taxes and the entire amount in just one payment.

Almost any foreing club have to negotiate with a spanish club to get their players, one exception, Neymar and PSG, find me another one.

Seen Kounde is being linked with Chelsea again. Apparently Anders Christensen going to Dortmund. Seville may as well just get 100 million in for their 2 centre halves. They'll never catch real anyway

Lose our two CB is impossible. Sevilla fans here have power and we have changed a few transfer decisión in the past and managers'd have to hide in África if we lose competitive power.

Every Day close to the final market Day DC is more expensive.

    Hello Trensa,

Carlos is going to triple his wages by coming to Newcastle. He is already making :( faces about being prevented the move. You don't want an unhappy player on your hands trust me. Sell him for the best price £28m and cash in before he gets too old. Both sides win.

The same speech that Chelsea fans with Kounde Last summer and he is playing for us like always.

Two weeks and this Windows is closed. Monchi is not selling a CB like DC without a substitute for him so the Last week the only way to release DC would be paying his clause. With Kounde was the same.

Cheers for the insight. What's it like being a Sevilla fan? Have legit never spoken to one. Which was your favourite Europa League win?

We ate shit for a long time in the 90' cause our managers, we started to do the right thing but nobody expected such a fap decade and half.

The first one was especial cause we thought that it would be the first and Last one.

The only thing I need to RIP is win La Liga, but with the two cheaters clubs here and CR and Messi in their prime was impossible.

    Maybe is the time.

  6. Hi again.

The news about his salary is from a local radio, I don't really know if it is true but this journalist was not right about past offers.

About Sevilla selling the player before Sat for me it ispretty remote cause we have a local derbi against Betis this Sat and DC is maybe our only healthy CB.

And, again, I don't see Monchi selling this player below €50m inthis transfer Windows fighting league and UEL.

Thanks for the insight and welcome. Do you rate him that highly?

Kounde is very good player but because He plays beside DC too. People would be very angry if we sell him below 50m.

Thanks, you're in luck as we have a striker here called Gayle that we rate at €50M, so looks like a straight swap is on the cards.    You are very welcome!

We have an UEL MVP Luuk De Jong, we could sell to you for 50m too.

Always nice to have fans of other clubs give opinion on their players

Like others have asked, how highly do Seville fans rate him?

Very highly. I don't see a sell right now.

  8. Ey, Sevilla fan here.

I was reading a few comenta and I decided to answer some questions.

Kounde's injury is not clear yet but seems not too much.

DC is almost signing his new contract with us for a few more seasons.

We are in the middle of a few battles. We are fighting the championship with Real Madrid, almost impossible, but there we are. The UEL Final this year is in our stadium and this is our competition.

I don't think we sell DC but, if we do it, I don't think we'd do it for less than 45-50m €.
