  1. Hehe thats not far from what i pay for my season tickets for AIK hehe (best seats in the arena as well). Thanks for the info, ill keep an eye open.
  2. Alright, as expected then. Much appreciated guys, the answers and all. Can always do the Arsenal-booth one, aint too shabby.. the only one celebrating in the booth when Isak destroys them Again, sorry for the off topic, cheers!
  3. I live in Stockholm, Sweden. How hard is it to get tickets to the away stand, lets say for Arsenal? Guessing its as hard as any other tickets...? My companys manager has a booth at Emirates and invited a few of us at the office to come watch a game, but if i go to see Arsenal - Newcastle, i wanna be in the away stand for sure and not in a booth filled with old white men..
  4. Alright, got it, can only imagine the demand is more crazy than ever on top of everything. Guess im stuck with using one of these firms that has package etc, fuck it.. i can let them rob me once. Isak better do some crazy shit that game haha I am flying from there so yes, thats helpful. Thanks guys, appreciate it a lot! Back to Isak
  5. Noted, let me ask the question like this instead. Is it fucked up hard getting tickets or will i manage somewhat "easily". Take Barcelona as an example, the arena takes 100K ish and they have like 90K sold season tickets which leaves 10K who are usually sold to sponsors etc etc = FUCKED Or do you guys at least have lets say 20% tickets sold each game that are not "locked" to season holders and what not. Sorry for off topic
  6. Isak will stay guys, he has many years left on his contracts as many of your already pointed out. On top of that, i know, he is a loyal kid.. He wont go for first best offer, he will be sold once the club wants him to. Maybe, MAYBE, depending on how good of a season/seasons he has, Madrid will knock on the door.. but i doubt it at the moment. I still think a lot of clubs are sleeping on him, everyone is per auto comparing him to Haland which are making people blind as they only look at the goals. Either way, i know this doesnt belong here.. but i havent seen Isak play live since he left AIK... and i need my Isak-fix hehe How is the ticket situation at St James Park for someone coming from another country to watch a game.. Do i have to plan and book ahead (game tickets i mean) or is it possible to buy at the stadium before each game. Im guessing the first option..? Also, do you have other derby-teams other than Sunderland or is that it (i love derbys...)?
  7. I don’t think any of the top teams in PL will. Liverpool was talking about him, but slept. Arsenal, same, slept. ManU won’t, city has Haaland and blinded by that. If he goes, he needs to first of all keep it up for the whole year, no injuries or longer period of no good. If that happens, and if he does a great CL, Madrid will start looking at him (again) and maybe Barcelona. I think Newcastle are good for now, lucky bastards 😀
  8. I might be baised but.. i would NEVER. If Haaland stops scoring 35 goals, what else is he contributing to? Isak could go a season without scoring a goal and i promise at the end of the season you will still consider him one of your best as he contributes in so many ways, shapes and forms. Not to mention he can play left, center, right. Even midfield works for him.. if you would have to. EDIT: Btw i dont dislike Haaland, loving fotball you have to love a guy like that. But also, i am realistic. Put Haaland on the left and see what happens haha
  9. Agreed, a least a little bit, ill explain why. This is how i see it, if im totally out of it.. let me know. Haaland, Mbappe, Zlatan, Drogba, Torres, Suarez etc etc (all attackers that one way or another totally demolished PL/other leagues) all had one thing in common that does not apply to Isak, once again... let me know if you disagree. They were all starts in their top teams. Not saying Alex is not a star, but hes not a star (yet) in the same way the above mentioned are/were (for many different reasons). On top of that, Newcastle isnt a top team like that (sorry guys, i think you know what i mean, they are not Real Madrid, City etc when the mentioned players played there). I know Newcastle is a a huge club otherwise, great history etc. Not to take anything from you guys - truly hope you understand what i mean here. Being those kind of stars in those kind of teams only meant/means one thing: All balls goes towards these players, maximize their chances to score goals as we paid a lot for them and we need to get something back. Even if they missed 1,2,3 or 4 in a row.. midfielders will keep feeding them ball after ball, yes? Take Haaland as an example, 8/10 balls whether in the air or on ground are directed towards him. Torres? Same. Drogba? Come one. Mbappe.. EVERY attack goes through him. And so on and so on, Messi, Neymar etc. None of these players are substituted in the ish 60th min either, no matter rotation or not.. Isak might be a star, he might even be Newcastles best (or one of) best players, but nobody in Newcastle is bigger than the team. You think Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi would have been give more or less passes if they played in NUFC, to take an example. Or any of the above mentioned, would never been substituted etc. Not sure i made my point, i think i did...?
  10. Oohh theres a way alright hehe.. not gonna say i was not surprised he did chip it (becuase i didnt see it happening, thought he would go for an assist) but when he did and i saw it happening i knew its going in and that he knew what he was doing. Just another Isak finish
  11. Hehe, proud? To say the least. Its surreal hes "ours" (played in AIK since youth), and now hes doing what hes doing in PL.. This might sound weird for you guys, but so far i tell you.. he has more to give, thats the weird part. Last season was fucked because of injury, if he has one full year.. im telling you guys. Haland may do 30-40 goals, but considering all the other things Isak does except the goals.. id rather have a baller like Isak in my team rather a freak of a goal scorer (ofc rather have both hehe). Last but not least, i know Howe is subbing him to rotate becuase of many games + CL etc.. but please Eddie, stop rotating Alex - specially after scoring 2 goals... you dont sub an attacker thats "in the flow". Its the first fucking game of the year, hes 23... he can do 90min week after week for a long time before "needing rest". Once again, i know WHY Eddie is doing it.. but it still grind my gears
  12. Its so much fun reading all the threads/comments about Isak. Why? Well, becuase i have followed him since he was 16 (played for my fav team AIK in Sweden) and since his first game (entered as suibstitute as 16, scored of course within minutes.....) it was clear for everyone - this boy (which he was at the time) is special. The touch, the speed, the IQ just to mention a few attributes. At 17 he had Allsvenskan (our PL) under his feet, nobody understood what was happening except for us AIK-fans who was already "used to it". As soon he got the ball, something spectacular happened every single time. Either he scored, or assisted, created a crazy chance that someone else missed, created a corner.. you name it. Imagine what he did to Everton, it was like that every game in Allsvenskan with AIK as the standard is much lower over there, the defenders had NOTHING to say/do and barely had time to figure out what hit them. After this, Madrid and Dortmund started bidding and it was over for us, we never got to have him for a full season (he would have won us Allsvenskan on his own, it was that ridicolous). On his 17th birthday, we played DIF which are our biggest antagonist and the derby between us is considered the biggest/baddest game of the year all categories. He ended them, as if nothing, with 2 goals and celebrated the first goal towards their stands in a cocky way.. and we loved it. Our fans did of course sing him happy birthday from the stands after the game. For the interested, check the sumary from that game.. i dare you to say you cant se "it" even back then.. SPECIALLY the first touch before the first goal.. i mean COME ON - who does that at 17, in the biggest game of the year, against your biggest rivals, on your birthday and with EVERYONE watching and expecting you do to "stuff" as he got us used to it. Then it went of to Dortmund, not so much time on the pitch, over to Netherlands where he TOTALLY fucked their league in a shitty team scoring 16goals in a VERY short period of time. From there to Spain and Sociedad where he had a fantastic first year, not as good followin year (having that said, they sold Oddegaard for year 2 and they were linking up REALY good before that. After Odeegaard left the coach also switched tactics and i dont think he fully used Isak correct after that. Just like the Swedish National team, not using him correctly at all). And then Newcastle, which i am now a huge fan of by the way.. You all saw the first game against Liverpool, when he scored 1+ 1 that was ruled out with VAR. When he did that, i was soooooo chill at home thinking "what else is new" but i knew.. i KNEW that you guys as Newcastle fans had just gone "wtf just happened, was that luck? who is this guy".... I could go on and on about this lad.. but i think his way on the pitch tells you more than i can with words. My new motto since i "discovered" him at 16? "Just pass Isak the ball" - same goes for you guys. Just pass him the ball, no matter if he failed the 2-3 earlier dribbles.. just pass it, things will happen Lets CRUSH City, come on Alex - crushing big teams is your thing!!
