  1. I live in London but will be travelling to Newcastle to watch the game. Why would people travel to London to watch it, if you have no ticket? Pubs central London typically £7 - £8 a pint, trains are knackered and accommodation expensive. Was going to come home this weekend but postponed it now, til cup final week.
  2. NUFC has announced a policy in recent months, where we play younger players to help 'advance' them by playing against older kids e.g. 15 / 16yr olds will play for U18s and 17 / 18yr olds will play for the U23s
  3. I went to Arsenal versus Chelsea at The Emirates with a work hospitality event in 2018, there were probably 12 to 15 of us there, it was £17,500 +VAT for a single game, that's 6 yrs ago and Arsenal doing loads better now, so would imagine it's even more these days.

    Jacob Murphy

I'm a big Murphy fan, just spent 30 mins swotting up on games he's started this season and results. Started 15, won 11 (including 5 away), drawn 3, lost 1. Man city League Cup - win AC Milan away Champions League - draw Palace Prem - win Villa away Prem away - win Fulham away FA cup - win Blackburn away FA Cup - win Luton Prem - draw West Ham Prem - win Wolves Prem - win Sheff Utd Prem - win Palace Prem - lost Spurs Prem - win Fulham Away Prem - win Everton Prem - draw Burnley Away Prem - win
  5. I think the Gateshead stadium move to the old North Durham ground was mainly down to credit crunch and change of government. They were going to have an NHS walk in centre as the anchor tenant, under the main stand but funding for that got pulled. Shame, would have been great for Gateshead, whereas International Stadium location is awful.
  6. I went to an Arsenal v Chelsea game about 5yrs ago as a corporate hospitality guest of the company I worked for. They hired a box (behind the goal) for 8-10 of us, booze and food included with waitress service, people arrived maybe 1hr before kick off and left straight after, you can't drink booze and watch the match at the same time (they closed blinds on box and you sat in the stadium during the game). It cost the company £17,500 for a single game!!!
