  1. Rain on me. But I wanted neves and tielemans for our mdf role. Financially both wouldn't have cost as much as tonali cost us (transfer fee and wages inclusive). Yeah you could argue that tonali has more room for improvement, better future but these duo are more pl proven, save us money and has the basic ability required for the team. Mind you, I won't argue much and go deep into this coz I am atleast ok with tonali (he was my 2nd choice for mdf) deal unlike livramento and Harvey Barnes
  2. Stop talking of 30m, it's has been rejected. And Don't forget that those reputable sources are reporting that soton want 40m-ish fee which is already 25% additional costs which still doesn't fit.
  3. Played in pl but not performed up to standard. And what of ucl? What of the pressure of playing in multiple competitions? What of competing for high stakes? Frimpong has all that, and livramento?. There's is no way playing average in a single season is more of proven criteria than playing in more than 1 league, ucl and performing well in uel. Well based on your logic longstaff is more proven than tonali since Sean has played multiple seasons in pl. Then we should have just neglected signing tonali.
  4. How is livramento a proven performer in pl? Only one average performed season. Frimpong has played very good in more than 3 season in 2 different leagues(one of them is a top league) and has played well too in the toughest European competitions. So who is more proven?. C'mon listen to what you are saying
  5. All reports have shown that the ree is 30m straight, no where I have seen any talk of clauses or instalments, besides it is reported they want a very unworthy 40m to 50m pounds(absurd). While leverkusen will demand 40m at most and he is worth it given his stats.
  6. Trippier is 5'10". So neither that tall. Frimpong best characteristics are physical: pace, tenacity, balance, grit and fitness
  7. Clubs do not always get transfers right
  8. If frimpong isn't very good then livramento is total crap. And what does height has to do with this, trippier is also small
  9. Meanwhile we could sign a proven performer in jeremie frimpong for a fee slightly above that esp now that there isn't any competition on him
  10. Now this was what I was talking of and I got almost crucified here. For me he doesn't even worth those £30m talk less of more than that. What are those insane price for? He didn't do anything incredible at top level, only had a season under his belt (performance not that awesome either), has 3years left contract and coming from acl injury, hence there is that risk never being the same player again as history has shown us. One could argue about his talent and potential but his not an A list talent. Use the price of other young players signed to a first team and you'll see he isn't worth it.

    Harvey Barnes

People here seem to misunderstand. I never said or implied that I am unhappy with these signings, Just said we could've done better with that huge money.

    Harvey Barnes

As if isak, Bruno and botman were proven pl players before they came. Yet they are our best signings
  13. This still doesn't warrant such behaviour. Besides being negative to what you love can sometimes be a good thing. Being positive always is stupid

    Harvey Barnes

But Gordon is still not a rw. And what does the manager wants in the player that diaby doesn't have?
