IF we fall short and finish 3rd, Does anybody else think we could go deep in the Europa league?

I think he should be on full pay. If he is carrying debt due to gambling, he can recover it and get his finances on track which hopefully leads to a better mindset. Also suspending pay (if that has happened or not) may sour the relationship, paying him means we have supported him and hopefully we reap the rewards upon his return next season. I don't justify anything he's done, but damage limitation now. We want a happy, clear minded Tonali back for next season.

I don't agree with that rule though. They should be allowed to train and travel to and from a match home/away still. Not only will it make the addiction harder to get over probably due to boredom but increase his chance of mental health problems even more by being secluded.

I just don't understand how they can ban a player if the betting was not on football, the English FA have to comply with something that is legal (bar football) for players here.

Ive got a feeling this has been hanging over him for a while, that with a new club/country will have affected him on and off the pitch. A silly mistake, yes, sucks for us, yes but if its a full blown addiction, the dude needs help not just finger pointing and bans. If he hasn't bet on football I cant see them enforcing a huge ban anyway (hopefully) but apart from footy, footballers can gamble here so we need to help him through that as its easily accessible unlike Italy. Probably in the minority with my opinion. god forbid I ever get an addiction, I hope my family don't just toss me aside as no good.

A shame we couldn't hang on for the W but a decent result considering we went a goal down and the injuries we have. From international break to this one a very good run of results and a very winnable game when we return. I sense a much needed break and rest for some of the lads not on international duty and get some back from injury. All good in my eyes.
