  1. No doubt, but I think those studies already have a direction, agenda behind them, and are politically motivated to reinforce themselves. Mine is embedded in grounded theory, it's branding, marketing study on nation branding, and the supporters' role. Look, give me a chance, and if it's pedestrian, just don't sign the consent form, and we move on. I'll make time for whatever works for you or whoever would be interested. Plus once you hear my backstory you'll understand that I'm not like the rest... I've lived in KSA...
  2. Let me know if you'd like to discuss my study. Like I said, it's all anonymous and you can back out at any time, even after the interview. I have no agenda, as many would think, I'm just trying to understand the state's brand, as my background is marketing, not politics, nor really sport.
  3. Well, there's a campus here in London for PhDs...
  4. Well, one that sits back with two blocks of 5, a lot of long balls over the top, and resides in the tottenham... Interested?
  5. Ok, that's good, was just trying to frame it as a painless, very casual discussion. Would you be interested in a short 45-min interview?
  6. Ha! Not sure how to take that... but I would love to chat if you're interested in contributing to shaping the study instead of letting the outside media, etc determine the narrative.
  7. That's fair, I apologize, I only posted in 4 threads, don't plan to make any more noise about it.
  8. I apologize for this being out of order. I am a PhD student at Loughborough University, London, conducting a study on KSA nation branding, its connection to the city of Newcastle, and NUFC supporters. It's a short 45-minute interview; all information is anonymous. If you're interested in participating, please email me at: [email protected]. Again, I don't mean to infringe on the forum, but I am just trying to conduct my study and connect with supporters. Thanks.
