The FA cup.........

Recommended Posts

.....started last week. it was the extra preliminary round. wouldn't it be good if whichever TV station has the rights had to pick a game from that round, show it live, then follow the winner to the next round and show that one live and so on until the final.

last week we could have watched odd down fc,St Blazey fc,larkhall athletic or Pagham.

Most of the papers and Radio 5 do that - some poor sod spends all year traveling all over the country mainly watching dross

Would be an excellent idea, showing that the FA cup actually still means something. Televising Whitley Bay, Blyth, Benfield etc. would act as an encouragement to teams of similar stature and give a lot back to the grassroots game.
