I think 'dependant on the scoreline' is selling the magnitude of those first 26 minutes a bit short.

Like I said above, what's the difference if we lose 3-0 or 8-0? Maybe even 10-0...a record-breaking thrashing...why would you walk out early? :dontknow:

Well i reply with what i've already said. You're selling short what happened in those first few minutes. It wasn't just a defeat at that point. Imo there is a difference in losing by a couple of goals, compared with conceding four before we've even got through a third of the game, at home.

Okay, so we're going to lose 10-0. Still don't see why you'd walk out early :dontknow:

To leave at 4.0 is semi understandable, or to leave at half time, but when Tiote has just produced a wonder goal to equalise and the 4th official puts up the board indicating 5 mins of stoppage time, giving the possibility to actually win the most amazing football game in the whole history of football matches ever, in the whole world, at any time since the ball was invented, to leave THEN, is utter, utter fucking madness!!! Just to beat the fucking traffic?? I would have gladly had the car overheat and fuck the cylinder head gasket cos of waiting in traffic so long, than to leave between Tiotes goal and full time whistle! UNBELIEVABLE. There will have been other buses, other trains, other gaps in the traffic to nip through, but there will never be another game like that at SJP again, ever.

Madness!

:idiot2: :idiot2: :idiot2: :idiot2: :idiot2: :idiot2:

When the cameras show people "walking out early" and the commentators comment on it, I always wonder if the people are truly leaving the game, or just going out to get a beverage/food, or take a leak. They only showed a few people walking out after the game went 0-4. In the US, during baseball, football, basketball games people are always leaving their seats throughout the game. Is that not done in the UK? Do people only get food/drink, or hit the bathroom at halftime?

My mate left for a pie and a piss on about 40mins of the Everton game. Have to laugh at what he missed! :D

He also missed the Colo goal v Wigan leaving early.

Leaving a match when your team isn't doing well is ridiculous, if you've gone to the game then you've gone to support them regardless of what happens. That's what being a fan is all about, you have to accept that there are going to be bad days and that you won't enjoy it but you still show your support until the end.
