It's the 28th/29th game that's annoying.

Nah. You want as many games around Christmas as possible. Christmas is all about sitting and watching stuff.

The Christmas La Liga break annoys me to no end, since it also means several midweek games during the rest of the season that I'm more likely to miss.

Having maybe a 10 day break before xmas day is what should be done and then pile fixtures like it is between xmas and new year when people are off.

Exactly. The only annoying part is seeing the London clubs given two home games in the Christmas week while us insignifigant clubs get to travel anywhere the fixture computer sends us. Its a shame we tend to get beat every Boxing Day mind but had some great away trips to places like Blackburn over the years.

@danielstorey85: Tim Sherwood: "Players only call themselves No. 10s because they can't score goals".

One of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

The worst part about that was he followed it up with "that's why Harry Kane is a 9 and a half, cos he scores goals" and then winked :anguish:

Sherwood's great. He's a walking, talking manager from 1995. I'd take him in a second over what we've got now.

 We've came a long way from the wheelchair-bound mutes that occupied Premiership dugouts in the mid-90s.

Imagine getting Sherwood man. Talk about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, only to find out it's a fuck off train coming right towards you.

He'd be a refreshing change to Pardew, however i think it would soon wear off. In terms of ability he's a bit of a mixed bag, hard to tell from a half a season stint what he's all about, but even from that you can judge he'd improve us, he'd have hba in the team for starters.
