Other clubs' transfers

Recommended Posts

Everton have been one of the clubs we always measured ourselves against a few seasons ago, but the signings they are making now are putting some distance between us. £28m on a proven striker who is only 21 is money well spent. But the best investment they made was in hiring a highly rated manager, and that's played no small part in persuading the like of Lukaku to leave Chelsea. I hope Everton wipe the floor with us next season.

Haven't they finished above us every season bar one for the past 9 years? I think they are far superior to us in every way tbh.

Indeed. Quite ironic that TRon has it in for Moyes because he took that club from relegation candidates to the 5th/6th most consistent team in the country.

I don't have it in for Moyes, I just said he was a limited manager who was never cut out to manage a club like Man U. Looks like that turned out to be a good call.

Incidentally, word is that Xavi has gone back on his decision to leave Barça this season, and will announce so on Monday.

Dunno if that means he'll keep the captaincy or Iniesta will assume it as planned.

lol @ Qatar. Probably felt bad at the thousands of people dying building stadia while he waltzes around in them for 400000% their wage.

I still dunno whether you're being serious or not. I'm no good with things like this.

I think he is joking but its always hilarious when you listen to people who genuinely think they would score goals in the Premier League

Why would you bring goals into a comparison with Shola?

Casillas first choice?

Navas I would have thought, he's quality. Casillas in the cups maybe.

Strange decision by Casillas to stay, if that's the case.

Casillas had an excellent chance of riding into the sunset after starting in their tenth CL win, imho (and his third win). He's in a very uncomfortable place now.

Speaking of QPR, is Taarabt back with them or they sent him on loan again?

Redknapp has said club hasn't received an offer for him, so he's back in the first team plans at QPR.

Did Valdes sign for Monaco in the end? Monaco didn't want to sign him due to his injury but Valde's side maintained the agreement was legally-bound.

Anyone remember Garry O'Connor?

Just signed for Selkirk in the Scottish 5th division at the age of 31

This the guy who went to Russia and we were rumoured to be interested in?
