Footballers are so fucking thick.

Probably quadrupling his wage and much more likely to win silverware next season?

Last two FA Cups? We know Arsenal have got a better chance of winning the league than Leicester next season too.

Don't like it, but it's true.

Leicester are champions. If they're wank next season and he just can't bear it, he could leave after that.

It's disgusting and I'll never accept it.

He could have at least waited until January like. He'd still have been high in demand. Give them a go in Europe, see if they can do it again, if not, then fair enough.

N'Golo Kante is probably the most underpaid PL player. Coming from the French second to tier Leicester at 24 or something. Don't begrudge him chasing the money.

But Arsene's Arsenal - he won't play 30 league games. Everyone becomes injury prone there.

Thought all this money now swilling about the trough was going to mean this sort of thing would be less likely to happen?

How the hell can clubs/sides develop if even after winning the sodding league, getting the 'holy grail' of CL football, being paid fucking squillions, thick as mince players still aren't satisfied.

Beggars belief :jesuswept:

I mean, that only works if Leicester offer him similar money. They're going to have a lot of players asking for their wages to be quadrupled.

Aye, I would say after the seasons they have had, many players would be justified asking for improved contracts, and if not given, think about moving on. I don't think they should move on regardless though.

He's got a release clause according to a couple of older articles.

Can you remember how much it is?

£20m I think it was in the Mail. Could be bollocks mind.

8 million euro as well, it wasn't like they only paid a few grand for him, he'll be on a decent wage.

Fair enough. But he deserves to be one of the highest paid midfielders/players in the league based on this season.

Probably but he has been doing well for Liverpool recently. Not sure who he'd replace in Spurs first XI though

was saying yesterday that spurs is a funny one this season in terms of transfers, what exactly are they going to be able to do to push on from where they are?

Arsenal's a good choice for Kante IMO, he's exactly what they need to get them to the next level and they play lush football. If the add a top striker and defender they could seriously challenge. The other teams are in transition really, apart from Spurs.
