The College Dropout

Is Draxler quick? Didn't seem it in the few games I saw from him.

One thing that stood out yesterday, with the exception of Alba and maybe another - Varane could catch any Barca player while givin them a yard and a bit headstart from near the halfway line. Did it to Suarez twice and it was a bit shocking. Real lack of pace and dynamism.

Nah he's not, technically gifted playmaker though. If you could train him on the defensive side i could see an argument for him to replace Iniesta as i assume that's what they want Coutinho for.

They should definitely want someone faster for the Neymar replacement though.

Arsenal were constantly linked a while ago, reckon they'll sign him, may be a replacement for Cazorla (whom they have really sorely missed)

I'd be disappointed if we signed Paulinho tbh.

For £40m yes, but he's far better than our current midfielders except maybe Merino who I haven't seen enough of. I know it's gets a bit annoying, but they're taking a huge risk based on his performances for the national team which has been great. Basically been the Paulinho Spurs were buying. Scored a hattrick away against Uruguay in the qualifiers. With that said, he's no player for Barcelona and he's certainly no player for £40m even in todays market.

Village Idiot

I'm not against somebody with his profile coming in - Keita was a great asset under Guardiola. Just paying €40m for a 29 year old who's been playing in China.
