ElDiablo
Hmm, I really don't see how people can overrate Fabregas, he's got the lot already apart from maybe his goalscoring which is down to the way Arsenal play. I also don't agree that players like Rooney, Fabregas etc. will get that much better with time, some players are just born to play football and do the job from an early age, whereas imo lesser players do improve vastly and are seen as better a lot of the time than the natural born players due to a visible upturn in their form. Fabregas will improve, but he's one of those special players that somehow grasp the game from a very young age, so will therefore not improve at the rate that some people expect as he has matured and grasped the game now. blink.gif
vicente_14
Arsenal also own Carlos Vela, a mexican wonderkid, who is on loan at Salamanca. He was the star of the recent Under 17 world cup and was also top scorer. He doesn't yet qualify for a work permit, hence he is on loan in Spain, but he already has quite a reputation. He should have a Spanish passport by the end of 2007, when Arsenal will recall him.
Guest GHoeberX
Arsenal is playing really disappointing lately. They play soo defensive, I barely recognize them. Anyway, that's only good news, because then Kluivert can easily destroy them in the Champions League! bluecool.gif
Delima
Why would Barcelona have let him go if he was the next Maradona? I think in Spain a player cannot sign proffesional contract until he is 18. Hence more and more clubs have eyes prying on the productive Barcelona Cantera. Man U "stole" Pique, Arsenal "stole" Fabregas, Merida, and lots of clubs wanted Dos Santos. If young players feel that there are too many senior players ahead of him in Barcelona that he is unlikely to get chances in near future, he might opt to go abroad instead. Cajun
Why would Barcelona have let him go if he was the next Maradona? Fabregas? THE most over rated player in the PL. Certainly no Tom Huddlestone, Spurs fans!
