perfect. And that’s not even including the footy.

All they have to do is the sensible thing - offer all the games on at a reasonable price.  Say a fiver a match - and they’d nip most of it in the bud.  Most would rather watch it properly instead of a stuttering stream on a Firestick

Its a hill I'm prepared to die on, but their 0-1 win against us that season was a more 1 sided game than the 5-0 the following year. And Schmiechel single handedly thwarted us that night.

I always thought Keane was a whopper, but to hear him diminish the impact Schmeicel had on that team in recent years, cements him as an idiot In my mind.

Right next to you on that hill, brother. Lost in absolute head-shaking disbelief on way home after both.

Watching the Birmingham City thing on Prime. The exchanges between Brady and Rooney are painful. A bloke who knows absolutely nothing about football interacting with an abysmal manager. Desperate stuff.

I’m up to episode 4 - we’re about to play them in the cup. Enjoyed it so far. Very different to Welcome to Wrexham and I admire Brady’s sheer will to be the best.

Rooney also looks a sack of shit. Like a alkie in a full length coat.

That Birmingham doc just makes me even more annoyed at how slowly everything’s moved for us off-field. It’s a canny watch overall, though, and we feature quite heavily in episode four.

Very much like Michael Jordan, just do anything to win, proper grafters, good TV.

Anyone watching the V11 doc on BBC2?

Just about to post it 😎

Funnily enough we've just watched another documentary about the Vashi jewellery scam whereby the bizzies and HRMC aren't arsed about looking into the villain.

Here's these footballers tho, all young lads when they were scammed, on the hook

Was looking for Italy game on Amazon other day and stumbled accords fifa tv which is free, shows classic games and World Cup films etc, worth a butchers if at a loose end of good background tv for those blessed home workers.

Love the World cup films. Don't know how they are filmed but the action always seems quicker and harder than what you see when watching a match on TV.

I know he's got a reputation as a dinosaur, but he was very innovative and ahead of his time in terms of fitness, etc at Bolton. Little documentary on Sky Sports News tomorrow night about him & Bolton with Djorkaeff, Nolan, Okocha appearing on it.

I thought it was an interesting documentary definitely more than the game atm. It's good to see how those players mentioned hold him high esteem.

Premier league rumoured to be looking at setting up their own  channel for streaming games. Possibly a ruse to get more out of sky etc.

Mixed feelings as I work for Sky and this would surely be the end of it or at least lead to huge downsizing. But I'm not oblivious to the faults of Sky either.

I do think this is coming in the next 5-10 years but similar to the HBO Max stuff recently, Sky will want to continue working with them and not lose the connection entirely.

So perhaps what ends up happening is Sky builds the technology, facilitates it and they split the revenue. Also build it into their Sky packages, similar to how you can now pay a lesser amount for access to a few streaming platforms.

The biggest hurdle seems the 3pm blackout but there seems enough customer appetite now for that not to be much of an obstacle imo.
