Would take Burnley 4 wins to go level on points with us only. So they need 5 games to go above us. That would be without us picking up any points.

All with 7 games to go.

It's done

No cock is that big, except from Steve Bruce himself.

Imagine a one night stand, lass pulling your policeman out and seeing Steve Bruce looking back at her.

Mind you it would be just like us to be the first:lol:

No team has stayed up with 5 points from 11 games...stuff happens...but we are safe now

Still looking forward to become mathematically safe. Once that is sorted we can start planning for the next season. To say I have huge expectations is an understatement.

10th has to be the target now.

Definitely the target now! Will be a hugely tough ask though. Would need to win the next 2 and the last game against Burnley whilst getting a point against Man City/Liverpool/Aresnal. That would leave us on 47pts which I think would be good enough for somewhere around 9th-11th.

Hope it's not a portrait, for your lass's sake.

I see the great Steve Gerrard is currently sitting in 15th.

I feel like the press are still struggling to give Howe full credit without mentioning the Jan window.

I, one of the more miserable pessimistic twats am ready to call this 0 (rounded down from 0.3) would have to be freak circumstances like a point deduction at this point

Weird how Gerrard spent a gazillian pound on wages for players but is doing a worse job though.

We gained two on Burnley today but not three. As a relatively long-standing member of N-O I’d say we’re 11/10 as good as down.

In terms of how the table looked, ignoring other emotions like the 4-0 drubbing of Leicester, or Watfords late equaliser, at what point would you consider the table looking at its absolute worst?

No wins in 14 was abysmal and 1 win in 20 not much better, but thankfully I don't think we were ever more than 3 points off 17th, which is pretty crazy, and significant. Burnley have had a number of games in hand throughout the season, but have never really been well clear of us.
