I think that FA cup game was maybe the last straw with Howe after seeing how shit he was against 3rd division opposition.

Nah, I think it is because he is a saleable asset and we need to make spots in the roster if we are going to sign more players. He’s one of the few expendable players we have that other clubs might want.

I think Fraser and Darlow will leave as well.

How have we managed to wiggle £15 million out of forest so we can re-invest it in a Brazilian wonder kid…

Its £15 million must buy clausul IF they for example stay up, he scores lets say minimum maybe 5 goals and so on.

Its a long way to go to fulfill that.

Obertan deserves a mention. 58 apps, 2 goals, and probably still standing somewhere on a football pitch byline wondering what the fuck should I do now I'm here

I still remember when Obertan out of nowhere pinged one of the best crosses I've ever seen for Wijnaldum to score his first goal for the club against Southampton in Schteves first home game.

Was the only decent thing he ever did for the club

He'd just have one year left on his contract in the summer? £15m for a 31 year old Wood with his contract running out sounds like a truly terrible deal for Forest

Can't begrudge Leicester for wanting at least double that for Maddison with the same contract situation then I guess :dontknow:

We would snap their hands off, Shirley.

He’s gonna single handedly keep them up, like he did for us.

Exactly this, hasn't bagged loads of goals and has missed a couple of sitters but he's done an alright job, similar to when we had Daryl Murphy, chipped in with an odd goal here and there, came on when needed and ran his socks off.

If he's leaving we now only left with 2 strikers so surely a replacement is on its way

Wood made Daryl Murphy look like Zlatan.

Murphy made 18 appearances and scored 6 goals, he's basically Aguero compared to Wood ffs

In the Championship. Wood scored 27 in the same season

I was comparing their records for us only - fully aware that Wood's largely been a really good goalscorer at basically every club other than us.
