Mbemba Youre A Womble

Sad news that.

Remember listening to an interview with him a few months back, seemed like a nice down to earth guy. Talked well about his time at Spurs, and how he and his misses went round Poch's for dinner.

Think it was just after pre-season, and said he was having regular check ups, but was training with the team and seemed hopeful of being able to get playing again.

Regarding Ryan Mason, I found it interesting to learn that Hull's club doctor (who would end up attending to Mason on the field) had just a few days prior been assigned by the FA an examination on head trauma and how to respond best to it. The universe has it's ways sometimes. Glad he's mending well, the sound of the impact when I was watching the game stuck in my head for days after.

They need to get Rafa on one week like.

Wonder which game they would pick for a tactical masterclass from Rafa managing us?

Spurs 5-1? Man Utd game? Maybe a championship game like Huddersfield away or QPR away?

QPR away was the most one sided game I ever saw live, including the 8 nowt versus Sheff Wed. Not sure how much there'd be to dissect tactically mind, we were strolling around a lot of the time.

Aye it'd have to be something worth analysing. The Spurs game as great as it was, I felt just ran on emotions alone and an incredible atmosphere in the ground. That Huddersfield away game last season or the Man Utd game just gone would be the best bet imo.

Much can be said for the virtues of playing in the PL, but QPR away was the best experience I've had supporting Newcastle and watching them live.

Shelvey's goal that night
