Butt followed by Milner then Solano.

Some of Solano's passing really defies belief at times, although for varying good/bad reasons.

Butt looks like he is at his peak and has completely turned around what looked like the end of his career.

Milner is finding his feet and getting better and better, but was also playing very well for villa last season.

Solano deserves huge credit for the way he has taken the RB slot and made it his own and he adds flair, class and brains to our cave man defence. I do think as above his passing can be very erratic at times though, but he is in good company with that one.

Butt is still nowhere near to the player he was for Man Utd and England which just goes to show you how good a player he was and how underrated he was. I must confess when I heard we'd bought him for 2.5m I thought we'd signed the bargain of the century potentially. I've always rated him but lets not get too carried away by his performances, as good as they have been. Certainly the most reformed player/character but not the most improved because he isn't a better player than he was and always had that ability anyway, Milner however has upped many areas of his game so overally he has to be my player of the season thus far, all things considered, with Martins a close second.

Milner has been our best player over the last month or so, he's getting better as a player, he can beat people his crossing is much better and he's started to score now too which has helped his confidence big time. he's also hard working and doesn't shirk a tackle either.
