Can't be true Anal Oliver says the following in todays chronicle.....

 

 

"Meanwhile, the Chronicle’s report that Oba Martins may have to be sacrificed to fund moves for a couple of defenders was described as “speculation” by United last night. But despite that, the word in the game is that Martins could still be prised away from St James’ if anyone comes up with the £10m Glenn Roeder paid for the little Nigerian."

 

 

What an idiot  , United didn't say it was speculation they completely dismissed it as untrue. He makes himself look more of an idiot by not just admitting that he got it wrong.

Why sell him for £10m when we've got a clause in excess of that?

 

Seriously Oliver talks some shite.  Rather than "the word in the game"  why doesnt't he just come clean and say "the word in Thomson House". 

 

Now what will happen is he'll be onto Sky Sports giving them the "breaking news" then taking the credit tomorrow for knowing the story before them.  Then when it doesn't actually happen, hey, they can have the blame for being "wide of the mark"!!
