Bit of a silly and pointless statement by Keane. Every now and then he likes to live up to the image of Mr Outspoken.

 

I think the main point is that it seems to have taken him a long time to realise what everyone else in football knew already - if a half decent player has options he will not be going to Sunderland.

 

His and Quinn's earlier outburst are pretty pathetic - they should just accept it - despite their blarney Sunderlund is not a particularly attractive proposition for anyone (or their wife!)
