Spurs play the ball much quicker than England. With Eriksson and son playing the ball around Kane doesn’t have to do as much to get space in the box. With England playing it so slow, if he just stood in the middle he’d be constantly marked.

Kane’s movement isn’t as good as other top strikers. Improve that and he elevates himself.
