Conform to the bias, man. It's better that way.
the sarcastic rallying cry of the league of tedious contrarians.
-
DAMAGE!!
-
Could this League Cup run be any more dramatic?
-
Thought that was an copy pasted article at first... my head wasn't ready and almost assploded on the second line
-
He's on quit the roll. Been something new every day for almost a week. What will it be today?
-
and spent a lot of his time on the floor.
-
Roll on his first goal.
Need Wireside to just pop in and mention he hasn't scored since his 'comeback'.
-
Yes, because the time thing is the only oddity about comparing Ben Arfa to arguably the greatest athlete of all time.
-
When del piero hit the bar man, that was un comfortable
I remember Zalayeta whacking it off the bar from close range late on. Did DP do it too?
-
Rubbish, Ben Arfa was running away from the Wigan goal and he looked up and saw Cabaye making a run, he waited a couple of seconds and played the ball not knowing that Cabaye had stopped his run.
Nah. I got the feeling he didn't so much wait for Cabaye but rather hesitated not doing it but then did do the flick out of desperation more than anything. Which meant it didn't have much power on it and had very little chance reaching Cabaye anyway. I'm all for him trying stuff but in that particular instance it was over indulgent and almost plain stupid.
-
Funny how stuff like that always seems to emerge, like the Stadium of Shite's postcode being 51 or something.
Odds are that there's bound to be something that fits any scoreline. Although 5under1and is still pretty cool.
-
If people are looking for a flop, they only have to look no further than the man who has lost his spark.
Well played.
-
By the time he heals, then gets over the hangover from the injury he normally has... should be just about ready for the Sunderland game in March.

"It's always difficult to slag a Newcastle player off (especially a home-grown one) without feeling vaguely guilty, and the criticism in this report stays on the page, not thrown as abuse in the ground. However, the lad just isn't up to the job of goalscoring, partnering Shearer or playing effectively as part of the team.
It might seem churlish to criticise the lineup of a winning team, but the fact that we won both this and the Charlton games with Ameobi in the starting XI is little more than circumstantial. There will come a point soon when the honeymoon ends and reality intervenes.
We almost won this game despite him, not because of him and after 60 games I just don't see anything changing. Like I said, not what we want to write, but better to be brutally honest than print insubstantial froth and cobblers like the local press."

Haha how ironic, a Lampard deflection actually makes it miss the target

Love that De Gea claimed offside for City's fourth.

Missed all the fun, must have been mentioned, but what was ManU's biggest home defeat before today?
-
Was still a typically ridiculous over reaction from Fabregas.
Seems like it was one of those games that does all football a disservice.
-
Absolutely spot on then.
-
Nice edit
Do you even know what battles you're fighting at times?
-
This bullshit really has to stop.
How very ironic.
-
I thought Simpson was slightly better than usual.
Missed the replays but the booking he got seemed like utter bullshit, looked a solid challenge.
-
Probably best he didn't score. Forum might have imploded.
