What rise of North Shields? North Shields refuse to be promoted (they have to in future), but the club actively doesn’t want to progress. Probably to save themselves though, some clubs can't handle the extra costs of being in a higher division. I get why they are reluctant to go up, I just don’t understand how OCK is saying they are on a rise, they arn’t. South Shields, yeah ok, Blyth, yeah, heck even Morpeth have had ambition and some sort of rise in the last few years. North Shields haven’t though. The problem I believe, is the extra travel costs involved with moving up the pyramid.
