Nice to see Emre kissed his toon crest when he tucked his pen away
Pretty sure I saw Duff doing the same too.

Just got back home from it. What an amazing game. Not really experience an atmosphere like that before, during the shootout. At 2-1 down you could just tell it was another typical Newcastle game where we cock it up, but Parker to score, I love him.
Also pleased for Harper. Great support tonight. Dreadfull defending set pieces though. Watford fans were rubbish until they went 2-1 up in extra time.
My voice hurts.
How many Toon fans you think was in attendance?
A hell of a lot. Couldn't put a figure on it, but it looked like at least 90% of the stand (behind goal where pens were taken) was full.

FREDDY SHEPHERD jetted back into Tyneside last night and vowed to ride out the storm at St James’ Park.
The Newcastle chairman has been in Majorca helping wife Lorelle recover from a health scare.
He missed hearing a large section of fans shouting for his head after the disastrous 1-0 home defeat to Sheffield United.
Newcastle have slumped to joint bottom of the Premiership after taking just five points from their last 10 games.
To compound matters, Shepherd is also believed to have had a major bust-up with manager Glenn Roeder over the scheduling of the game.
The club chose to accept the £350,000 Sky cash and play on Saturday night despite a tiring UEFA Cup trip to Sicily on Thursday. Roeder said: “I was hoping Palermo was a turning point but the big concern was playing the game so quickly.”
The Belgravia Consortium are waiting in the wings to buy out Shepherd. But a source close to him said: “Freddy is no quitter.
“Changing the manager or the chairman wouldn’t put the ball in the back of the net. It’s a case of trying to get through until January when the squad can be strengthened.”
Roeder insisted: “The chairman isn’t out there playing. He selects managers and I have complete responsibility for the team and the squad.
“I accept that and would not want it any other way.”
Newcastle’s decision not to postpone the game 24 hours enraged fans. Website nufc.com said: “The false economy of taking a few hundred grand while risking the club’s top-flight status was a risk never worth taking.”
Former skipper Alan Shearer said: “Glenn is trying his best but has his hands tied — his only striker is Giuseppe Rossi which is why they’re struggling.”
Good. Glad to see Roeder was pushing for that change, and even more proof that our anger should be at Freddy and not Glenn.

I don't think Roeder will play that weak of a side... He needs a win now more then ever, and a decent cup run will help...
Looking forward to it. Must be mental going to watch this.

Ring them back?

Talksport in general state controversial 'views' like that to generate money and a show though people ringing in.
Ignore it.
Yep, Every show on the station is the same. One presenter has one view, and his co-host shares the exact opposite view. They will then spend 3 hours getting callers on to argue each point. Load of shite nowadays.

I reckon he will go
Harper
Carr
Moore
Bramble
Babayaro
Butt
Parker
Solano
Duff
Ramage
Sibs
Subs
Pav
Taylor
Milner (on for Solano 83)
Pattison
Bernard
Huntington
Luque (warm up for 3o mins then sit down)
Ramage up front?!
-
That or he's getting some match practise in for it?
-
I thought Martins and Moore had groin injuries.
Martins and Butt I believe.
-
-------------------Harper
Carr----Bramble-----Taylor-----Baba
Milner------Parker-----Zoggy-----Duff
-------------Rossi------Martins
Team is interesting for me. Ramage from the last couple of games deserves a place, but not at LB - in the centre. Bramble was MOM on wednesday, so he'll probably retain his place, but theres good cases for Taylor and Moore too. Unless he "rests" Moore, and waits for Bramble to cock up again. The only proper way Taylor will develop is by staying in the team, so I'd like to see him in too. Good luck Glenn.
Don't think Milner deserves to be dropped, so Nobby will have to go on the bench. Emre/Butt injured, so Parker in the middle, Duff has to be on the left so Zoggy to go in the middle again. Rossi is starting, and presuming he's fit, it will be Martins alongside him. If not, they'll have to ask Shola to start the game.
Reckon we'll win 1-0.
-
Presumed he was rested last night, but the Chronicle say he was injured. No more detail then that atm.
Anybody got anything else?
-
I'm liking these Palermo fans
-
Whoops, sorry. Was looking for Pearson in a thread title, but couldn't see it.
-
According to Mick Lowes.
Dunno much about him to be honest.
-
Fuck me, this actually wasn't just a bad dream, was it?
-
I cannot wait for Crumpys thoughts on this.
-
Maybe we're unveiling our signings in ascending order. We started with the crappest and we'll finish with Ronaldinho.
Reckon you're onto something. Get Rossi and Sibierski announced now, and leave Nugent and Bridge till 11:50, so we forget all about it...
-
I'm pissing myself here. I'm so ridiculously angry that i've just ended up laughing!
Me too. Can't stop laughing for some reason.
-
Even the fucking Sky Sports News presenter had a chuckle!
-
I am actually going to go slit my wrists. See you all later guys!

More concerned over the implications (if any) on us extending Rossi's loan until the end of the season.
