Ha ha they're mental them lot! This one is easily leading the current bitter stakes table! Reiver, Today at 9:11 AM #167 After this weekend Newcastle will, most likely, be back in deep relegation trouble. They have Ashley's signing, Slimani, out again so will have to go to Anfield with the 3 stooges. When you're playing in the PL and Gayle is your top striker you know you're just making up the numbers. Shelvey injured his knees at Bournemouth by continually resting his hands on them. He'll definitely miss the Liverpool game and possibly the next few. I suspect the Mags will have enough to keep them occupied by the end of the season. Riever is a typical 'hardman wannabee' mong. The bitterest 64 year old you will ever meet

These are going down people need to stop kidding themselves they will stay up by the Time Tuesday is done they could be 3 games behind the rest with only 10 to play Impossible task for a team that by then will have won 5 from 36 games I'll be astonished if they get any more than 38 points

Just start a thread calling for directions to Fleetwood and Wycombe

Another Doumbia and Ferreya be surprised if he completes 90 minutes for us -
£300m debt?! I thought it was about £70m (which probably will have been reduced by about £15m after last summer!)?! It's currently around the 180m mark
-
They have scored 4 fucking goals since Grabban left on 4th of Jan 2 of them being OG's and yet people still think they will stay up Come on man
-
They are 2 games behind hull as it stands now be a use of GD if hull beat Barnsley that's 3 Games are running out their run in is horrific They are gone
-
They are usually found on rubbish dumps
-
They are letting 3 goals a game in away from home over last few games. they will be lucky to take 10 points from 14 games lose their next 2 and with who everyone else plays they could be 7 adrift that's 3 games behind because of their gd with 12 to play......bye bye
-
Not a chance they will like, they’ll pick up a couple of wins and a few draws here and there but they are never turning this around. I've said this for ages they have 9 of top 12 to play. The other teams at bottom have each other to play around 4 times after Tuesday the mackem only have Burton left I can't see them hitting 40 points not in a million years
-
The gift that keeps on giving . It's glorious watching these plunge into the abyss. Their run in is horrific
-
some 6 pointers coming up down the bottom if they don't get 4 points from their next 2 games it's bye bye
-
Every poster on here takes the piss somewhat and fair game. You however seem to have a real problem with Sunderland, like it really bothers you. Why? No real issue at all I don't know where you get that idea from. I was just simply making a statement. Doesn't bother me one bit at all what happens with your lot like many others on here im just sitting back watching the ship finally sink

Gifted 2 own goals and despite coming from 3-0 down they have lost ground on the bottom 3. All of the bottom teams picked up a point apart from Hull who got 3. They can now win a game and still not be out of the bottom 3 providing the teams above them lose that is. These have all of the top half bar 3 teams still left to play out of 15 games and with this time of the season teams chasing play offs These are going down make no bones about it
-
Cant see it happening again really it was supposedly a 40% reduction from last season even if its 20% that then means hes had a 60% wage cut in 12 months no matter how much you earn losing 60% of it is huge
-
Unless I'm mistaken that was PL, wasn't it? Even with the relegation drops, it could be even higher now, such is the drop in income. Add that to other costs, and just why would anyone buy them? Once you've paid off Short and the other loan, the club will still haemorrhage money and is in no place to go up to the PL. Anyone would have to be mad to buy them, you'd be better off starting a new club. By the time you buy the club and clear the debt and invest a little bit in the squad its a 250-300m cost no one is paying that
-
Nope. It would potentially help non-league football in the area if some the remaining 15k or so matchgoers dispersed amongst Shields, Gateshead, Spennymoor etc. If the Mackems go down and Spennymoor go up there will only be 1 division separating the 2 teams
-
The average player in league 1 and 2 is on roughly 2k a week....Rodwell is on 35x that
-
Them cunts wouldn't get a single penny of my money....id take great pleasure in seeing them fold and their fans be left with nothing
-
No way do they stay up imo....They cant win games and are now starting to get spanked away from home couple that with having to play just about all of the top half and the teams around the bottom having more 6 pointers then them. SAFC only have Burton and Bolton to play whereas the rest have 4

Some tough away games coming up these could be adrift by end of month

This is idiotic, tbh. I was a goalkeeper for twelve years and I was always worse than other two goalkeepers when they compared our fitness, speed... mostly because I'm 6ft 7inches tall, but I always performed better at games because the other two were lacking decision making, determination, positioning, etc. If that's how the squad is picked, then it's poor man management. Benitez should know that manager at his level is mostly motivator, psychologist and tactician and not some professor from middle school who thinks that ones who know subject by heart are better than ones who truly understand it. Ferguson and Big Ron openly admitted Paul Mcgrath never trained as he just wasn't upto it and usually drank a bottle of vodka before training. Come Saturdays though the guy was an absolute colossus of a centre half Picking a team by training statistics is not how a manager should be doing it
