  1. You have to go man, Urugua v England were one of the first games to be sold out and Netherlands v Chile is probably a group deciding game.
  2. Guess jail time is a bigger deterrent. Also you don't want a culture where you can pay your way out of trouble. Sure, at the same time you can go out on the streets beat the shit out of 10 people and yet not get the same jail time. I guess the system doesn't always work as it should, but I do feel like they're using him as an example tbf.
  3. Been discussing the Hoeness case with a friend, and wouldn't a fine double the amount + interest rate or w/e it's called be worth more to society than paying a guy who will probably eat everything available to stay in jail? I mean, take his money and then give the same amount (his fine) and give to charity or something.
  4. I know that's a joke, but aren't the jails in Germany quite lenient. I know Breno who's in jail gets to go to work at Bayern for couple of hours a day and his family can visit him like once a week or so. He takes the metro to work and everything. Don't know if that's after a time of well behaving in jail or so on, but I'd think Hoeness won't sit for 3,5years ?
  5. I'm sorry but isn't that quite lenient? Sure it seems a lot but wasn't that heck of a lot of money?
  6. He's the lord of the Universe. Can be a bit of a c*** though. Well that's me out of here then.
  7. They looked better to me against City than Bayern did against Arsenal.... although that might have been more to do with City performing at a lower level than Arsenal but still. I have only seen them in the big games this season..... (City, Milan, Madrid and Atletico) but each time they have been good, i wonder if they have a problem with getting motivated for the "lesser teams?" ( was probably one of the major things Pep did great for them) Anyway i'm baffled by Neymar, not in general play because i think he was good and i know he was out of position but again i found his finishing to poor for Barca. Now i know he doesn't get as many opportunities as he does for Brazil due to Messi etc etc but when i see him for Brazil his finishing is fantastic but when i see him for Barca he looks timid in front of goal and i really don't get it. I reckon Neymar is one of those players who revels in being the main man, much like Ibrahimovic or someone but obviously with a different style of play. He doesn't look as confident or comfortable playing for Barca yet as he does for Brazil and it could be because he isn't the best player in their team. Think you're pretty much spot on here. He's just not comfortable, you can see the way he plays he's always looking for passes and hesitant to make a dribble, which makes him a bit to slow as he's unsure what to do. His best spell has been with Messi out of the team scoring 6-7 goals or so.
  8. Still a shocking decision. Ref has been poor all night. At least he's been consistent Not only is he complete shitbag, but he's a f***ing dick too. The handwaving after Iniesta fouled Silva and the red card show are just few examples. He sent Kaka off v Ivory Coast in the World Cup 2010 I think. Kaka did absolutely nothing
  9. Can't believe people talking shit about Barcelona today. Done everything that's been asked about them against a very good team.
  10. Been excellent in terms of what has been asked of him. They're 3-1 up and he's been holding onto the ball.
  11. Still a shocking decision. Ref has been poor all night. At least he's been consistent
  12. Refs been shocking most of the time. Absolutely, but he's french I think, so no surprises there.
  13. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, possibly Chelsea & At. Madrid would all beat them on current form imo. Can't argue about the three first ones. Do think Barcelona would beat Chelsea and Atletico in a CL tie.
  14. Everyone forgetting about Lescott's foul on Messi in the first half?
  15. Clear penalty but Messi should've had one as well.
  16. Stupid from Neymar that. Zabaleta sent off
  17. He's always excellent, but I think I'd rather watch Zidane or Ronaldinho on their days. More entertaining players are hard to find.
  18. Lescott has been the worst player on the pitch. About to type that and then that happens
  19. Navas has to come on for Fernandinho soon.
  20. Had this been the first game I'd agree, problem is he offers absolutely nothing going forward in my opinion. Kolarov on the other hand has a crazy left foot. Every ball into the box is deadly dangerous.
  21. I don't get why Barcelona don't play like they can every week. It's unbelievable how much more they seem to care when they play big teams. Basically lost the title because they seem unable to motivate themselves against smaller teams.
  22. Messi is un-fucking-believable.
  23. Fucking cheat. That should be a goal for Neymar.
