That Sandro goal gets better and better. Same goes for that class pass from Walker to Rooney
-
That's a penalty, it's not soft, Llloris brings him down, as easy as that. It was more Welbeck dragging his foot and making contact with Lloris than anything. Might be a pen, but it's soft Lloris misjudged it and made contact with the striker. It is a penalty every single time. It was poor from Lloris, but the only contact was instigated by Welbeck Glad we agree it was a penalty then.

What a pass from Rooney. Welbeck did better than Soldado did on Paulinhos pass.

Soldado Getting down on his knees like they won the world cup
-
Wow. Take a bow. What a goal
-
Kaka scores again. Four goals in as many games I think now. Been excellent today for Milan.
-
What a shit red card for Catania
-
Playing him a bit more advanced. Don't know why they've insisted with him as a sitting midfielder.
-
Oh wow. Where did that come from?
-
Paulinho has to do better there, Lennon did that very well.
-
Soldado has to bury that. What a play right until the finish.
-
Nice goal from Milan and Montolivo that. Started with Montolivo at the back and ended with him at the front. Great team goal. Kaka and Montolivo the ones involved again.
-
1-0 Catania. Undeserved and a bit lucky.
-
Think Simeone started that when he was there.... seems to have carried on Inter must be close mind. Ok start to the game, switched over from the Betis game. Kaka going deep to get the ball and is involved in everything they do. Him and Montolivo seems to be building a nice understanding. Nocerino is also such an average footballer.

Just looked at the lineup for Catania - Milan. Catania have 10 argentinians in the squad, 7 starting. It's like us with the french guys

Kagawa or Welbeck on the wing I wonder? Also why the f*** is Dawson playing? Hope it's Welbeck there. Kagawa should always play centrally.

Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano now. Battle for last this Hope first half is decent as I'm only watching this because it's the only game on.

In other news though, Fluminense drew at home yesterday and are on the verge of being relegated. This is a team that has been a top team in the Brazilian league for 4 years and won the league twice in the last three years. Unbelievable how they've missed Fred this season, first the months of the Confed Cup and then injuries. He's only had six games from start this season, scoring twice. They will have to beat Bahia to be safe, and even then it might not be enough.

Just seen this, one of the legends of the game.... i have only a few highlights and old tapes to back me up but i'm sure people who watched him share that view. Wasn't that long ago that Djalma Santos died too.... can't be many more of that 58 side left now surely? In anycase R.I.P Considering the fact that from that squad Mazzola and Pele are in their mid 70s it's not weird that many are passing away by age. Still sad, watching footages from that team is just great, not the best team Brazil has had, but was the only World Cup where Pele and Garrincha played big parts together. Still considered in Brazil the two best of all time, geniuses of the sport. I know the captain Bellini is still alive as well as Zagallo who managed us in 70' and '74 as well as '98, but the likes of Didi, Djalma Santos, Nilton Santos, Vava, Garrincha, and also Gilmar (the GK) who died couple months back as well.

Ronaldo and Messi are two freaks of nature and it's not as if their goal tallies are what you would expect, they're so far ahead of everybody else over the last few years it is insane. That's why the amount of goals gets lauded and so it should as well. I said a good 2 years ago that CRon will eventually be regarded as a better player than Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, and ironically, I can only recall Ronaldo agreeing with me. They are the 2 best to ever play the game. People have very short memories when it comes to R9. Thankfully only a fool would think that. But there is no doubt he is the 3rd best of this generation behind these 2. R9 had everything, but was still just short of the level of football being played by CRONMESSI. Talent wise, I'd say he was on par with Messi, unfortunately he was injured way too much. You know how we all give excuses to players for having been injured for a long time? Well that wasn't needed for the real Ronaldo, he was out for two years, came back scored like 7 in 10 and then won a World Cup. Neither of the two we have today would do that. I'd argue in the past decade 1. Messi 2. Ronaldo/Zidane 3. CRonaldo/Iniesta

TBF both score a shit load against any team in the world, I get your point about midfielders and so on, but you can't take away the fact that Ronaldo has scored like 3in2 against Juve this season and Messi scored bunch of goals against big teams last season.
-
Real and Barcelona aren't really needing Ronaldo or Messi to win games in their leagues easily. Real looked as comfortable as ever this week without CRonaldo, and Barcelona bar the Ajax match have really been solid without Messi across the whole team. They're great players, but I do wonder how these teams would do without them. True, I have troubles thinking of one top top central defender excl. Thiago Silva. He is for me the only game changing central defender in the world at the moment. One who can dominate the absolute best. (non-biased opinion)

Bale scores another one.
