  1. This thread is sentient and powerful, man. Any indication of premature celebration and it has always, without fail, smote my bet down. New rule/superstition: Don't mention how bet is doing in here until it's over.
  2. They're a tough cookie at home. I'll plump for a bore draw.
  3. It was a while ago, but I vaguely remember Delap having reasonable footballing ability when he was at Derby. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me though.
  4. Udinese and AC are two and three goals to the good respectively.
  5. Smashing. Would like Woodgate to get a goal for my Fantasy side, but good result if Bolton can keep the lead.
  6. Kevin Davies scoring against Stoke. Haven't seen the goal, but that's funny by itself.
  7. Raylor seems pretty disappointed most of the time.
  8. colo's already said he wants to stay right? so they're saying it's not less than his current wage and is long term at his age only way this goes wrong is if he's a greedy cunt Hm.
  9. Got some Fantasy points off Hennessey for the initial save
  10. Cracking game. Just turned it on. Rodagella scores a lovely header. Offside. A beautiful ball by Di Santo and Rodagella stabs wide after a great take. Then O'Hara scores. Action packed.
  11. Hoping for a Wigan-Wolves draw, a Fulham-Spurs draw and a Bolton win.
  12. Wolves DNB Twente AC Milan Udinese DNB PSV Barca @ 3/1 Small stake.
  13. They're like Ronnie O'Sullivan, ruthless frontrunners. Can't afford to go down, because they are sickeningly good on the break.
  14. Definitely penalty. Thought we were fortunate to go into the break 2-1 up. That being said, I thought the goals changed the game - because before we scored twice I thought we were well on top. When the game started, as the home side, the onus was on us to score/dictate play and I felt we did. The nature of the goals were a bad defensive mistake and a super strike, but we were definitely causing problems and looking dangerous. Having got our two goal lead, it was natural we'd lose the 65%-odd-possession we had and they'd come into the game more. They then finished the first half much stronger and looked dangerous. So they maybe should have gone in half time level. Second half, they were limp though. I really expected them to make it tough for us today, but the only team I've seen lie down as badly as that when chasing a game was West Brom against Liverpool the other weak. With Cabaye and Marv going off, it's difficult to say whether we would have been able to reassert control of the game and go for a third if they had managed to pull it back to 2-2. IMO.
  15. I enjoyed Lawro's super-rehearsed quickly-spoken begrudging praise. It looked so difficult for him.
  16. Have they won on a rainy Monday night in Stoke though?
  17. [Well, we would be the best defence they've faced They've had easy fixtures so far]
  18. http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,,18932_7290797,00.html Another "expert".
  19. The Citeh pre-match thread will be entitled: The Unstoppable Force vs the Immovable Object [Not really].
  20. Almost exactly what I wanted to do. Probably still will, probably with Blackburn (dnb).... Phew. Close one. £63 profit.
