Referee refused to let the game flow and lacked the courage to send their dirty players off.  The Wolves players must have realized that after their eighth rugby tackle on Barton.  Spineless little shit of a ref, hope we don't get him ever again.  And then the guy commentating has a go at Barton for getting frustrated.  Comical.

Well he's not exactly getting head hunted by Barca at the moment, but if he wins the Championship and keeps us up this season, he ends up in a really strong bargaining position in the summer.  And it wouldn't be inconceivable that other teams might be interested, especially if he's out of contract.

This is just getting too confusing now, seems as though we're actually going/getting players that we need rather than just extra players for spots we're already "strong" in. I'll need to wake up soon.

I wouldn't say we are "strong" in midfield at all.  This distinction between 'attacking' and 'defensive' midfielders just doesn't seem relevant when your other options include a striker who thinks he's a midfielder, a fatty, and a psychopath who can't stay fit.
