    The general feeling is that Ashley will sell if he receives an offer for the club which gives him his money back, but if he is making a killing off Sports Direct and making between £10 and £20million a year off Newcastle then why would he sell for anything less than a huge over the top offer ?

     

    He could be here for the long term !!!!!!!!!

     

    Or at least until he devalues the club so much it's no longer worth him using NUFC as his free advertising bandwagon any longer.

    It's just all so natural to him (or certainly looks that way to me), it's effortless.

    I don't honestly believe you can "train" that into someone, you've either got the natural ability or you don't.

    As has been said, his quickness to strike and calmness within those strikes is just mindboggling.

    Also, I'm extremely impressed by his movement and positional sense of himself on the pitch.

    To hit the "sweet spot" of the goal (the place the keeper can't reach) can only happen if you know exactly where you are in relation to the goal before you hit it.

    To do it time and time again is just crazy, crazy stuff.

     

    The more I think about it, the more it hurts my head.

     

    Half a season and he's already a Legend. :love:

    Feeder teams

    What's to stop a premier league team having their feeder club in another country?

     

    Not much it seems, with the Belgian team, Royal Antwerp being Man Utd's feeder club. A quick check of their wiki page (I know, not the most exhaustive place to search), shows 31 players loaned to them over the years (including: Simpson, OShea, Wallwork, Chadwick, Ebanks-Blake, Evans, Cathcart, Shawcross).

    No club should be one player away from Shola starting.

     

    This sounds like a plea from a TV charity  :D

     

    "Please give generously during this transfer window, Mike Ashley. Or you could be one injury away from Shola being being your lead striker. And no club should be one player away from Shola starting."
