  1. Quality ball (ironically from a central midfield position) for Lovenkrands' chance.

Lovenkrands snatched at that mind, should have scored.

Not sure about that.  From the Gallowgate corner it looked like the defender was tight on him and Lovenkrands got a kick as he took the shot.  Don't think he had time for a touch.

  2. What goes around comes around I guess. didn't we get rid of Sir Les for £6mil because it was 'too good a deal to turn down for a 30yr old' and now we're getting one in from the club we sold Les to.  :frantic:

I rate Keane and would like to see him play alongside Carroll. Hate his poncy goal celebration, but I guess I could live with it if he's wearing a black and white top.

  3. He was my favourite player whilst he was with us, I think we took for granted just how effective a fast player through the middle was. The kind of player I'd love us to have now. He didnt have the best end product but scored some crackers for us. The goal against Everton, 3 touches of the ball from the halfway line.  :smitten:

Can't deny it was a great bit of business getting rid though, and although he was a bit of an arse, I do feel a bit sorry for him.

    I agree with that.

  4. MASSIVE SMUG GRIN

Don't tell me you actually like Man City?

Living in Manchester for 3 years gives you a whole new appreciation of hatred for Man Utd, and I have absolutely no issue with the Man City regime, in fact I find it quite refreshing.

Aye, a team full of c***s managed by a dickhead.

Not enough of that in the game like.

Because that clearly doesn't apply to the Man Utd Saints with their simply delightful manager.

I honestly did not know which team you were referring to then

  5. Knowing Ashley, there was probably some sort of kerazy wager on today's game with Moat.

Maybe to sort out the sticking point on the negotiations?

Regardless, I hope it gets sorted, and he buggers off.

  6. Wasn't there something earlier in the season about a consortium headed by the Shep to take over and bring in Shearer? This was before Al took over for the last 8 games.

Perhaps this is the same bunch back again and hopefully they still want the same man in charge.
