  1. Juninho did alright. Was awesome first time round, garbage the other times like. Mainly due to the fact Salgado nearly took his leg off at one point in his career like.
  2. Then just leave the thread alone. Why've you turned all plebbish recently? I'm tribune of the plebs man.
  3. Then just leave the thread alone.
  4. Don't forget that Woodgate has signed for Boro as well now Jon.
  5. "What do Clarence Seedorf and Pete Doherty have in common? They both get caught in possession an awful lot." [/James Richardson]
  6. Ah right so he's carried an injury in all of those games he's played against Chelsea and Liverpool and not done anything as well, fair point.
  7. Steven Taylor? If you'd said that a few months ago, I could understand it (a bit), but now? My choices - 1. Cristiano Ronaldo - he's a very good player, but he's still got a fair bit to learn about when to keep and when to release the ball. Not anywhere near the best in the world yet. 2. Michael Owen - again, a good player who poses a threat, but he hasn't lived up to the reputation that he built up in the early stages of his career. 3. David Beckham - not sure how you'd define his reputation right now, but I have never known a footballer where the gap between his standing in the game and his actual ability was so huge. Oh no don't dare say such a thing, the posse will round on you now. Maybe I'm being a bit reactive. I just thought he played like a great big egotistical jerk last night. Whereas Paul Scholes - who really should have been Footballer of the Year - gave a magnificent performance in a midfield that was being overrun. Don't worry mate I'm firmly in your corner and stand by everything that I've originally said about Ronaldo when he's up against top class opposition and last night proved it again. He clearly wasn't fit tbh. Also all of the other big games he has done nothing in? not fit then as well. Last night proved when he's against top class opposition and they suss him out he just looses his rag like he did towards the end as he cannot get past such players with ease like he can against most teams over here.
  8. Is this some sort of wind up? Nesta is the best centre back in the world. Puyol is top 3. Ronaldinho I won't even go into. Don't think Nesta's the force he was a couple of years ago personally, but still quality no doubt.
  9. Have you watched Totti often Stevie by any chance because he's fucking awesome.
  10. No should he shite, he should be commended for doing it.

  12. He said a Newcastle top, not a ladyboy man. http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/3628/ladyboysdrinks02tz4.jpg "Ahhhhh Ladyboys!"

  14. I'd definitely agree with the sentiments about Torres, the lad is so overrated it's untrue.
  15. On a sort of related note I'd like to stake claim that Deco is probably the most underrated.
  16. Chelsea's football and system is to constrained for someone like Kaka to operate who needs the freedom to express himself.
  17. Raul's not overrated anymore as everybody knows he's a shadow of the player he was 5 years ago.
  18. Sylvain Distin is the in the top 4 centre halves outside the top 4 of the premiership. In the premiership. IMO. If that makes sense. (The other 3 are King, Yobo and Campbell, what order you wanna put em in is meh) Woodgate? Not for me. But whatever, thats the sort of company I would put Distin in. Distin better than Woodgate? You're having one of Gejons Girrafes? Obviously he's not. Which is Spectrum's opinion and fair enough, I'll tell you that I respect his opinion more than 99.9% of the Newcastle fans on here.

  20. Pretty sure I remember getting slated by most on here around this time last year stating he was the best player in the Brazilian team and one of the best if not the best in the world.
